[LCD] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was out of town when my monitor was delivered and was so very anxious to get home to set it up and start using it. I didn't care for the look of the stand that cam with it, so I changed it out for something more me.
I have a home business and spend a lot of time staring at my monitor. I always have several windows open to do comparisons and wasn't happy with the limited screen space on my monitor. I am by no means a "techie", and I am loving this huge, clear, colorful monitor. Yes, for me 29" is huge!
I'm looking forward to learning all of the features and options available on this monitor. There is so much screen to work with. I have big plans for this and I'm confident that it won't disappoint. Am I pleased? Why yes... yes I am!

Well, this new LG monitor is a huge improvement. I didn't realize how inferior the old one was until I started using this one. The screen on this monitor is so much bigger, brighter and clearer - things that I didn't appreciate until now. I'm so glad she did this upgrade!

[24"] I primarily use a laptop for work, but I wanted/needed a monitor. I usually need two monitors and my laptop screen for work, but i thought to try buying this ultrawide monitor instead of buying two smaller monitors. Completely worth it and people around me are asking about it to buy it. And what's also great is its affordability! It's not a cheap monitor for cheap price, but a really good monitor for cheap price! buy it!

[1920 x 1080] I like it! The wide screen makes it really easy to do work as a med student.

[24"] I bought this about a month ago and I'm quite happy with it. I picked a slightly lower specs monitor that is more affordable since my work won't get me a ultrawide and I didn't want to spend too much of my own money. I've been using on screen control and loving it. I'm going to see if it supports DUAL CONTROL soon. Picture quality is not the best, but if you're not a pro user, you will barely notice it. Speaker is low quality, but it's ok.

[60 Hz] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not only my first LG monitor but also the largest monitor I have owned as well as my first, widescreen. I absolutely cannot believe that I can do what was taking me two separate monitors on just this one monitor. This was the main point, or desire, in my wanting to own a widescreen monitor was to be able to condense and not have to use multiple monitors. So this also means using less electricity as well.

I did not know until after the fact that it has built-in speakers. The sound quality is excellent and does not distort at higher volumes. I was using a wireless Bluetooth speaker but I have switched over to using LG's internal speaker on this monitor which also uses this technology called Waves MaxxAudio.

The clarity for someone with less than 20/20 vision is impeccable. There are many settings options such as Custom, Cinema, Vivid, HDR Effect, FPS, RTS, and a reader mode (that has that sort of tablet sepia color to it). I will generally use the Custom feature. I like the Super Resolution+ and Black Level settings as it makes the text stand out better. Under Settings, Picture, Color Adjust, there is a Gamma feature with four separate modes. Choosing Mode 3 enhances text clarity even further and is what I am currently using.

Other features include the ability to tilt the monitor forward and back. It does not have an option to raise the height of the monitor and if I had to list any cons that are literally the only one I can think of. On the rear of the monitor where the ports are there is a USB-C port which could be used to charge any devices that use a USB-C charge cable.

This is definitely a monitor I would recommend for anyone to use and I mean that especially if you are working from home or for any businesses seeking to upgrade their current monitors for their employees. This is such a major space saver being able to use this one monitor and it looks so much cleaner as well.
