Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with a Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4E PF ED VR Lens and Nikon D700 camera? What are the shortcomings?

A: Yes, the Kenko TELEPLUS HD pro 2x DGX Teleconverter for Nikon F would be compatible for use with the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4E PF ED VR Lens on the Nikon D700 DSLR camera. Do note that as the Nikon D700 DSLR camera requires an equivalent maximum aperture of f/5.6 or brighter to maintain autofocus, and the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4E PF ED VR Lens would be the equivalent of a 600mm f/8 lens when connected to the Kenko TELEPLUS HD pro 2x DGX Teleconverter for Nikon F, you would not be able to autofocus with this setup. You would have to focus manually. That being said, automatic exposure, automatic metering, and Vibration Reduction capabilities should still be available.

Q: 2. Will this Teleconverter work with the Sigma 150-500 5.6-6.2 used on a D7200 body? Lens was purcahased in 2013

A: Yes, the Kenko TELEPLUS HD pro 2x DGX Teleconverter for Nikon F would work with the Sigma 150-500 5.6-6.2 lens for Nikon F on a Nikon D7200 camera. However, it will not support autofocus or auto exposure functions or provide any communication between the lens and the camera.

Q: 3. Is it compatible with the Nikon Z5 with Z to F adaptor and the Nikkor AF-S 70-300 mm F mount. Will AF still work?

A: Theoretically Kenko TELEPLUS HD pro 2x DGX Teleconverter for Nikon F will work in that combination and provide autofocus but only testing it out to really make sure you don't get any error messages. The good news is that you can return it within 30 days if it does not work. Just keep the box and all accessories and follow our return policy.

Q: 4. Is it the new 2x teleconverter from Kenko ? Image from their website is not the same (http://www.kenkoglobal.com/photo/lens_accessories/teleplus/kenko_teleplus_hd_pro_2x_dgx.html). Thanks!

A: They are the same, that link looks to be the Canon variant.

Q: 5. Does the bag have adjustable padded dividers in the main compartment?

A: The Lowepro Pro Messenger Bag 180 AW does have adjustable padded dividers in the main compartment, yes.

Q: 6. Is it possible to create 360 videos using only 2 e mount cameras such as a6300?

A: While it is possible, it would not be recommended as the video would likely have a lot of distortion and you would also need to do all of the stitching and software editing yourself. It can be done but 360 cameras make it a lot simpler and easier.

Q: 7. Does the bag have horizontal dividers? So that you can put two small lenses on top of each other (with a padded divider between them)?

A: The dividers on the inside are adjustable, however none are specifically horizontal for the purposes you've asked about here.

Q: 8. D750, Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR and 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR. Will 2x TC work with these? Any AF/MF and aperture concerns?

A: Yes, the Kenko TELEPLUS HD pro 2x DGX Teleconverter for Nikon F will work with those combinations, but with the Nikon 200-500 it will only be manual focus. With the 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR autofocus should work.

Q: 9. Will this work on a D750 with a 28~300 G lens?

A: Yes , but not AF

Q: 10. Is this compatible with nikon d3500 and a 70-300mm zoom lens? Thanks

A: Yes it is; it is compatible with Nikon F-mount lenses produced by Nikon.

[0.2 lb] I just received my Parrot Pro through a Kickstarter pledge and it’s amazing. The quality and functions of the Pro are definitely an improvement from the previous version. The set up was very easy & straight forward (Thanks Josh for the how to videos). It took me a bit to adjust everything to work with a 24mm f/2.8 on a zoom lens and Voilà! Will absolutely support this creator again.

[Multi-Layered] I was able to jump on the Kickstarter and I’m glad I did because it was really fun watching the company grow and when the item finally arrived it was very exciting and so far I love it. Good quality. Nice case that it comes with also. Thanks to Gerald and the pad caster team!

[180°] As a long tim RX user (since RX version 3) and pro video editor who has to solve a bunch of audio issues, I find this invaluable, it is fast, easy, real time and has a low CPU hit. It is almost perfect. So glad I got it, get it and you won't regret it.

[180°] The lenses fit my X and the light gives my videos just the right amount of lighting. My favorite is the wide-angle.

[0.2 lb] Gun safety is not anything to keep putting off. I have handguns for self and family protection and they need to be accessible but safe for any kids in the house.

[180°] This is a little gadget with some close-to-precision lenses. The two lenses can be detached by unscrewing the front wide-angle lens from the back macro lens. Please understand this is an inexpensive addition to your generally precise smartphone lens (iPhone in my case) and, given its price, it is certainly worth the try. The wide-angle lens has the appeal of offering a wider view of whatever is in front of you (with some fish-eye effect, like it or not; I am not too interested in that). The macro lens seems to me very sharp and quite impressive (it gets very close to the subject of your photo). All in all, worth the price, and it can be worked out to give you sharp images. And some fun too. Recommended.

[180°] I think I will have fun with this lens. I also purchased a small tripod for my phone which I think will come in handy steadying my phone when using this lens.

[0.2 lb] You download Parrot software to your phone and load your scripts there. I used a folder in Dropbox.
Takes some getting used to-- script spacing, timing, font size. But it works very well. I generally shoot up to around 8-10' before I really have to concentrate to read. If I made the font bigger, I worry that I'd have unnatural delays between words.
One thing I'm not fond of is the click when you attach it to the lens. I worry that it puts too much strain on the lens, even with me supporting it.
