A: No filters used. This lens is exceptionally sharp! If diffusion or softening is necessary, it is much easier and controlled during post processing.

[Neoprene rubber] This lens makes you smile. The quality you expect and more. Great for low light urban and landscape shots. Cool for those tight indoor shots as well. It's expensive but if you want a versatile lens to pair with your 16-55 you won't be disappointed 5

The build quality, sharpness, and rendition is absolutely superb, and Im also have a lot of fun using it. Next up is to find a filter mount that I can used with it. [Neoprene rubber] lens hoods can be great, meh, or poor. this one lands in the great category with only a slight complaint: that the camera cannot balance on the hood when it is installed. Other than that it keeps the sun off the front element, screws into place with no issues, and doesn't make the lens significantly wider for storage. 9/10 5

[Neoprene rubber] This lens paired with the X-T4 is a brilliant combination resulting in super sharp handheld images. Be prepared for the size and weight of this lens, it is substantial but worth it. 5

[0.1 lb] Ive never owned a lens wider than 18mm equivalent. This lens opens up a whole new area of creativity for me. As with my other X series lenses, this one is built like a tank and optical performance is excellent. Ive taken it on a couple of hiking trips and the images are stunning. Im considering the FotodioX Wonderpana 145 Core Filter Holder and polarizer. The one thing that took some getting used to is how the image can change substantially depending on where the horizon cuts across your scene as you change the elevation angle. And minor ghosting occurs if you include the sun or bright lights. Overall, Im very pleased with the lens and it rounds out my kit nicely. 5

[Neoprene rubber] Like its big sister, the 200MM f2, this lens is a brute (comparatively speaking) but optically it is excellent. Flare is not much of an issue, even when the sun is within the field of view (there is a little bit, but far less than most ultra-wide angle lenses I have used, including the vaunted 14-24MM f2.8 Nikkor). While it is not threaded to take filters, I plan on getting the Fotodiox Wonderpana adapter to make use of their 145MM diameter filters. While the polarizing filter is of limited use with such a wide angle of view, the ND filters allow for slow shutter speeds that can render moving water, say, as a smoothly flowing surface. I have had the Fuji 10-24 f4 for a couple of years (what can I say - Im a wide angle kinda guy) and will keep it for times when its much smaller size make it the preferred tool for the job, but that extra 2MM at the wide end of this lens is quite noticeable and worth it to me. 5
