The Konova S700 SUNJIB Mini-Jib Crane features a balance bar which is installed inside the boom. Offering a maximum payload of 44 lb, it can hold DSLRs to heavier cinema-style cameras. The crane's head plate supports both flat and ball head bases, and the jib is compatible with a wide variety of tripods.

Q: 1. Is this compatible with Davis & Sanford PROVISTA18 ProVista Tripod and the FM18 Head?

A: While you will be able to connect this to the ProVista 18 this unit weighs 12 pounds before you add the camera and counter weights. The ProVista 18 has a load capacity of 18 pounds, it may not be enough with this unit. However ProAm makes a Camera Crane Stand specifically for this unit, it can handle a load capacity up to 100 pounds and is reasonably priced.

Q: 2. Hi the load capicity indicated is 10lb/4.5 kg. Does it include the counter balance weights or is it just calculated for the camera (or crane and camera)?

A: The load capacity refers to the weight of the camera and accessories.

Q: 3. Can you disable the auto leveling system and control the angle of the camera manually with this model?

A: To remove the auto-leveling system, you will have to remove the auto-leveling arm that is attached on top of the jib arm.

Q: 4. Does it have auto-tilt capability?

A: The Kessler Crane Pocket Jib Traveler has auto-level but not auto tilt. Since Kessler cranes do not offer auto-tilt, they instead utilize electronic pan and tilt heads.

A: As long as you set the level first, you will achieve a level move. The jib is portable so you are limited to the move distance.

Q: 9. Does this crane have any kind of a vertical brake? For instance if I want to lock off an overhead shot.

A: No, there is no lock on the ProAm USA Orion Jr. Once balanced properly, You can set the camera where you want it and it will not move once let go. However, there is no solid locking mechanism.

Q: 10. How many pounds is payload of the Konova S900? Does it works with BM Ursa 4.6K ?

A: The Konova S900 SUNJIB Mini-Jib Crane has a payload of 44 lbs/19.95 kg. It can easily handle the Blackmagic Design URSA Mini Pro which bare weighs 5.1 lbs. Fully built it, would be anywhere from 10 lbs to 25 lbs. Add the weight of the video head and you still should be well under the 44 lbs payload of this crane. Just be sure your tripod is rated to handle 50 lbs or more.

[19 lb] ProAm is probably one of the most accommodating companies I have dealt with in years. I had a problem with the build I had purchased from B & H and they re-built one for me. I have never seen a company value customer service more that ProAm..B & H and proAm are perfect together. Great Crane rig set up as well love the footage I can achieve for my production. [44 lb / 20 kg] Simple-looking jib is very smooth and sturdy. I use mine with a fully-loaded FS7 at about 25lbs, and occasionally on a Dana Dolly. I purchased the Plus adapter from Konova since it isn't at B&H, which gives me a 75/100mm bowl. Very good mini jib. Also, it's easy to set up and tear down. And mine came with the bag. 5

[44 lb / 20 kg] I am very happy from S900 Jib. but some problems in the camera mounting. as the screw they provide is very small and also I put 75mm Bowl head but same the hole on bowl support is too small and it's not working. Head stay flat very hard to balance the camera. 5

[Yes] I've rented jibs before and even hired a crew for a big event. I've always wanted my own, but they were typically big and clunky. This is great! Lightweight - works on my standard tripods - easy to set up. Of course, it's not going to get those sweeping views of a performance in a big theatre, but for simple motion shots, it's excellent. 5
