[4000 mAh] Excellent photo backpack. For the price you can't beat it, especially for all the features it has. I've had several bags and I like this one for the versatility and space. If I had one complaint it would be the zipper for the main bag space. It sometimes gets caught on the flap and you have to work it free. Small issue but still annoying from time to time. I love the backpack features such as the bottom latch to hold it on your back and the latch across the chest. The bag holds my full frame mirrorless plus 3 lenses. Not bad for a compact case that's water resistant as well.

[4000 mAh] I bought this for a trip to Europe, not wanting to take my full-size bag. I recently upgraded to an M6ii with all the weight-savings that implies. This bag holds the body with kit lens, and most of my EF glass: 28-135, nifty-50, 10-18 and adapter; three chargers, six batteries and ample space for a little more. I think I could fit my 70-200 2.8 in there, but I don't need it for the trip. As a bonus, my 10-inch tablet fits perfectly in the dedicated pocket. There are straps for a tripod or monopod (I don't plan to use) and a pocket for water (which I will use).


Build quality seems really solid and I wore it around the house to get used to it. It's plenty padded and comfortable. If I have to ever upgrade my large bag, I'll definitely consider Ruggard again.


I can't think of any drawbacks to this bag. I suppose if you wanted to carry a jacket or larger laptop, this bag wouldn't be the one, but if that's the case, just order the larger bag.

[4000 mAh] Quite compact and very functional at the same time. Have plenty of space for Mirrorless camera with a few lenses and accessories. Tripod can be conveniently attached to the side.

Most importantly the backpack is very rigid ensuring that camera and lenses are well protected.

[4000 mAh] This is a great bag and an excellent value. I shopped for hours reading all reviews and when it arrived I was not disappointed. All the negatives that I read about it are unfounded. The bag has multiple ways to accommodate a tripod; all very secure. Plenty of room for gear and is just the right size for my Sony a7riii, 12-24mm, 24-105mm, Sony a6000 and two additional
lenses. Plenty of room for my laptop, Straps are comfortable and well constructed. Only minor negative is lack of a trolley strap for travel with carry-on luggage, though an adequate work around is using the waste strap adjusted tight. You can get something more rugged for 2-3x the price, but for moderate outdoor use you can’t beat the value.

[4000 mAh] This shoulder bag is small enough and big enough while offering great equipment protection. Perfect for camera body with a 16-50mm lens, a 50-250mm telephoto lens, flash and accessories. This bag is extremely well made with great stitching, plenty of storage pockets and dividers. You can't go wrong with this one.

[4000 mAh] This is a great small looking on the inside, but big on the inside backpack. It is lite weight and with all my stuff in it is not a burdensome backpack. The fact that I can carry a light weight tripod on the side is a bonus. It is very well made and has a rain cover to boot that tucks away in a small zip pocket. I have always been a diehard Lowe Pro fan for most of my gear, be it photo equipment or a laptop and this little backpack will hold it's own against the best of them. Love the yellow zipper pulls too!

[4000 mAh] Wanted to downsize from a 7D and battery grip to the M6 for a trip overseas. This bag is perfect for that camera, the kit lens, a mid-range zoom, 50mm, with the assorted batteries and chargers, with room left over. I could probably fit my 70-200 in there as well, but I'm trying to save weight.

[4000 mAh] This bag is not bad at all, its bigger then I thought. I was not sure of purchasing , but in speaking with customer service for advice and i am glad it did, she was very knowledgeable and helpful with my decision .

The bag is well padded, has plenty of room for 3 lens plus one on the camera, could probably fit another small lens. The front compartments are spacey and also has plenty of room for cables, battery's a charger and the laptop compartment is well padded.
