A: Yes, the DPA Microphones DAD6010 Microdot to 3-Pin LEMO Adapter is compatible for use with the Shure ADX1M Digital Micro Bodypack Wireless Transmitter.

Q: 2. Does this work for the original rode video mic? Not the pro version, but the original?

A: The Rycote shock mount you want for the original VideoMic model is the Rycote Universal Shotgun Mount for Cameras and Boom Poles (B&H # RYUSGM) which fits mics that have a 19 to 35mm diameter. The InVision model is for mics with a 19 to 25mm diameter and may not open wide enough for the original VideoMic model. I would also suggest contacting Rode directly. They did have an upgraded replacement mount available. You can reach Rode by phone at 562-364-7400. Their US office is based in California.

Q: 3. How fragile is the lyre? Can you throw it in a bag with other things or would you recommend storing it safely with padded dividers/its own case?

A: Lyre material is very durable and yes you can throw it into a bag with other things.

Q: 4. Is this adapter wired for Lectrosonics Servo wiring, or Universal wiring?

A: This specification is not published by DPA, but available upon request. The DPA DAD3056 uses universal wiring and is listed to work with all LM, SM and UM series transmitters. Should you have an M185 wireless system, this adapter will not work. You will need the DAD6012.

Q: 5. Will this fit an NTG3 blimp?

A: After consulting with Rode directly, we have verified the SM8 Shockmount cannot be fitted into A RODE NTG3 Blimp.

Q: 6. What thread and size is the mount?

A: This should have a 3/8'' thread mount, and the dimensions are 151.00mmH x 65.00mmW x 117.00mmD.

Q: 7. Is this compatible with the Audio ltd A10

A: Currently, Audio LTD is unavailable at B&H- and so we cannot test this combination. However, the DAD6003 should work based on available documentation on the A10 wireless system. On A10-TX, the ground is not terminated to the pin as is the case with the Sennheiser SK transmitters that feature a 3 pin Lemo.

A: Yes, the Rycote 041138 InVision On-Camera Shockmount is compatible for use with the Sennheiser MKH 416 Shotgun Microphone with a windshield.

A: Yes. This DPA Microphones DAD6003 Microdot to 3-Pin LEMO Adapter will work for connecting microphones with the microdot connector to SoundDevices A10 or A20 transmitters.

[0.5 lb] This mic will pretty much blow your mind with how clean it records. The brass instrument clip isn't that great. It wouldn't stay secured on the trumpet I mounted it on. Plus, certain mutes will prevent it from mounting entirely. I'm sure the clip is very instrument dependent, so plan for backup mounting options. When in doubt, gaff tape. 5

[0.5 lb] I guess I use my 4097 and 4099 mics pretty hard, because every once in awhile one of the little rubber shock mount rings form a tear. In fact I have two 4097 right now where the shock mounts are wearing out, tearing, making the shock mount less affective and some handling-type noise is delivered to the mic when in use. The rings are exactly the same as what ships on the mic—-these are factory spec replacement parts. They are easy to replace and put your 4099 / 4097 back in working order if you experience a shock mount failure. I try to keep some extra rings on-hand. 5

[0.5 lb] This little adapter allows the great DPA 4099 clip on microphone to be used wireless with a number of systems. In my case I'm using it with the Shure PGX14 system. It does everything it's supposed to do so I am completely satisfied. 5
