The replacement earpads improve upon Bose's design by using a slower-rebound, higher-density memory foam, made slightly deeper and wider for people with bigger ears. The earpads are then wrapped in fine, soft protein leather.

[Black] Comparing with original earpads, it’s much softer. As a heavy user, I wanted comfortable and long time useable earcubs. So these are the best choice. The original earpads were pretty decent but somewhat sweaty during indoor use. In conclusion, these earpads are soft, light, not sticky. five stars 5

[0.11 lb] Bought these when the fabric over the earcups began to crack, and wow, I ove these! Much more comfortable than the original earcups, and much cheaper than replacing the whole thing. Using these on all my fancy headphones from here on out. 5

[Black] Unlike the first reviewer, I found these earpads to be easy to install and they are firmly attached.The leather is very smooth and supple and feels luxurious. In my opinion these are a step up from the original Sony earpads. 5

[0.11 lb] Good replacements for OEM ear pads. Fit and finish is excellent. Memory foam is a bit more firm and thicker than the original pads, should last longer if that is any indicator. 5
