Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. IS THIS BACKWARD COMPATIBLE WITH THUNDERBOLT 2?

A: Sonnet Solo10G SFP+ Thunderbolt 3 to 10 Gigabit Ethernet Fanless Adapter requires full Thunderbolt3 bandwidth to function properly.

Q: 2. Is there a way to adapt a SFP28 to SFP+?

A: An adapter is not needed; SFP28 transceivers are backwards compatible with SFP+ ports. You can plug an SFP28 transceiver into an SFP+ port, but you will only achieve SFP28 speeds.

Q: 3. What is the minimum sized relector that can be held between the two clamps? I have Westcott's 30-inch Illuminator series (6 in 1). Their non-extreme version mentions it can work with the 30-inch units, but this unit doesn't (also checked their web site). For just one dollar more than their other version, hoping this can work since it seems more versatile. Thanks.

A: The clamps can be set at about 9 apart at a minimum.

Q: 4. would this cpu cooler fit the 775 motherboard socket?

A: No, I'm sorry but this cooler will not fit that socket type.

Q: 5. What is the average charge time for 18650 battery?

A: 5 hours

Q: 6. Will it charge 18650 batteries?

A: Yes, it does. The NiteCore i2 has a comprehensive list of batteries it supports. Please see the bottom of our overview for the full list.

Q: 7. Does the transceiver come out! I need single mode.

A: Yes, the Sonnet Solo10G SFP+ Thunderbolt 3 to 10 Gigabit Ethernet Fanless Adapter with Short-Range SFP+ Transceiver BH #SOLO10GSFPT3 has a removable transceiver.

Q: 8. I tried using this charger to charge AA and AAA eneloop NiMH batteries. They get VERY hot. So hot that I stopped the charge because I was worried the batteries were being damaged. Has anyone else had this issue? Is this normal?

A: This charger is for high amp dicharge batteries that have a low internal resistance ! Time to charge is 3 hours max.Eneloop charge in about 10 to 15 hours on a charger made for high IR at a much lower amp

Q: 9. Can this be used to connect a Mac Pro to a monitor that has SFP+ module input - like Lilliput Q31?

A: Yes, the Sonnet Solo10G SFP+ Thunderbolt 3 to 10 Gigabit Ethernet Fanless Adapter with Short-Range SFP+ Transceiver can be use for such a connection.

Q: 10. Will this charge rcr123a 3 volt batteries without any issues? I see it is compatible with the 3.7 volt ones.

A: Yes it will. I have Nitcores and AW RCR123A used in my SteriPen.

[1.78 lb] I upgraded from the illuminator provided with my scope , to the Supernova. As expected it gave me greater range. The unexpected bonus was the better duration of the battery. With the original, I had to change out batteries during a night's hunt. With this I have not. Finally, I own several ATN products and have found your technical support and customer service to be superb. Sign me a loyal and satisfied customer.

[1.78 lb] This really lights up the target area. It was well worth the purchase price. Just realize that it's a large, heavy light.

The mount is cheaply made. I don't know who they have making it, but it doesn't have the ATN quality that I expected. I had to re-tap the screw holes just to get it mounted. The adjustments are a little awkward and with heavy recoil it tends to move.

[8.2' / 2.5 m] Well-built and surprisingly bright for a short range illuminator.
My only gripe is the user manual I received, it came in every language except English. I would have preferred more technical information about optimum placement and more intelligible graphs for the various diffusers. Even so, not a big issue. A couple minutes of trial and error and you'll have the neighborhood lit up nicely. Definitely recommend.

[10 W maximum] Bought 2 after other cheaper illuminators were low-light. THey run off a 12 V 7AH battery and the beam means they illuminate objects within 50 ft or more!
