A: Do you mean the same brightness as an 18% gray, like for metering? I don't have one but I would say it is close. Maybe a little lighter. If you mean is it a neutral gray, like for white balancing, it is very neutral. Be aware that this backdrop has a noticeable texture to it, so if you are shooting close up tabletop work that may be an issue. It is for me. Can we post pictures here? A: My DIY material background hanging system consists of eye bolt screwed into opposite walls using wall anchors. I then string two strands of picture hanging wire; starting with one bolt, looping through the other, and then back to the first and securing. I use the binder clips (medium or large) - the things that are used to clip a stack of papers together. I place the clip over the wire and clip the background ever 6 - 8 . I have 2 or 3 backgrounds on each wire. I simply slide the background that I want to use into position. I have 3 wires to hold all my material backgrounds. They remain wrinkle free; very easy to change. I also installed stretchers (adjustable Velcro with alligator clips) on both walls - just thumb tacked - to make the material taught.

A: Depends on application. Attempting to shoot high-key can be difficult as the vinyl is quick to produce specular highlights.

A: This is for use in signs & banners & I wouldn't recommend it to lay on the floor, the ink would wipe off quickly. If you can laminate it so the color would hold it can work.

A: Yes this can work for application as you can easily clean it with soap and water.

A: The Godox Round Mini RGB LED Magnetic Light (Pink) BH #GOR1PNK is not made to attach directly to the phone. However if you have the MagSafe case it may attach.

A: It is vinyl sheeting of probably 6mil+ thickness. It is not a thin film. Think more like a fabric shower curtain.
