Ideal for police, first responders, and construction after dark, the Pelican 9470M Remote Area Lighting Systemoffers up to 24,000 lumens of light in a sturdy, stable, and portable unit. The four LED light heads rise to nearly 7 feet in height, swivel 360°, and can run from 2 hours 45 minutes to 24 hours on a charge, depending on the output level.

The 9470M can be operated via Bluetooth remote control and employs an Intelligent Control System, which displays current battery level and allows the user to regulate light output and choose the desired run time. Two USB ports can be used to run or charge smartphones and other devices.

The light heads and masts are stored inside the case and assemble in minutes. Each aluminum light mast extends to a height of 6.8' (2.1 meters) and retracts when not in use. The rechargeable battery has a 2.75 hour run time in high mode and runs as long as 24 hours on low power. The battery charges in eight hours and has a lifespan 500 cycles.

Q: 3. How long does the Area 48 run on say a standard AB Dionic HC or HCX?

A: This is a very bright led light. The light at full power uses about 145 watts. A battery that is around 95Wh will last less than an hour. If you use a stronger battery or less power on the light it will last longer.

Q: 4. Is the mother board replaceable?

A: You may inquire about a replacement motherboard for the 9460RS through Pelican directly at 1-800-473-5422.

Q: 5. In order to purchase clamps, how thick is the pipe?

A: The thickness of this Truss Piping is 1.5" inches.

Q: 6. is it can charging with 230V using in Europe ?

A: Unfortunately, the charger for this light is only for 110VAC. A transformer would be needed in order to charge the battery on 230V. The TOPOW ST-200 Step Up / Down Transformer (200W) B&H # TOST200 is an option to consider.

Q: 7. Can you hook two of these together to operate off of 1 remote ?

A: Yes you can. You will need to set one of them as the primary and the other as a slave. So connected your DMX controller to the primary first then connect another DMX cable from the primary light to the slave light. You will then need to set up the lights accordingly.

Q: 8. How definate is the July 16 expected date?

Q: 9. Can this product be used in place of a Mean Well GS160 A2-R7B?

A: This power supply is designed for the Area 48 Soft light. If that is the fixture you have then it will work, if not we recommend contacting the MFR of your device.

[27 x 22.5 x 14"] This review listed in here by the other person who claims the light has issues, was clearly neglecting the light badly and had no idea how to use it. These are tough, well made lights, as well as having an excellent CRI. 5

[50,000 hours] We used it to hold up a 8' x 12' matrix of Christmas lights that weighed about 50 lbs. It survived for a month outdoors in cold, rain, and direct sunlight. NOTE: not pictured are two additional horizontal bars that go on top and extend the sides out a couple feet. Without those light bars the stands are maybe 8 ft apart. 5
