A: The combined 504HD and 536 carbon fiber legs weigh about 11 lbs, not a problem for the tripod pocket. However, the closed length of the tripod and head is 35 which is way too long. We suggest a separate carry case for the tripod or a smaller tripod.

A: Only the waist strap is listed as removable. The Shoulder Straps are not removable.

A: I currently use this pack with a C100 mk2 with 3 lenses (50 prime, 18-55, and 70-200). It fits all of the camera goodies and then some additional items like a wireless mic and Atmos ninja plus mount. By the time I get it all in there it is a little heavy, but the way the pack is built, it offers a lot of protection. You just have to setup your velcro-in partitions in a way that makes it all work. I think this pack is great for a videographer on the go, and would highly recommend it.

[5.2 lb / 2.4 kg] I was looking for a bag that would allow me to keep the C300 MKII assembled with the top handle so I don't have to waste time in the field reassembling the top handle each time I need to shoot. This bag is an affordable solution. This bag works well for a one-man band. Ideal for press. It is capable of holding a C300 MKII with the top handle assembled, a shotgun mic, lav mics, lenses, extra batteries, and memory cards. If I'm covering an event, like a press conference or rally, I park the car, put on the backpack, throw my tripod on one shoulder, and quickly setup my next shot on location. 5

[6 lb] I purchased the CAR-2AUD case to carry gear ancillary to my mobile recording business. This includes spare, compact recorders and I/O interfaces, modems, batteries and miscellaneous data cables. The case is roomy (17"x9"x9"), with semi-rigid walls. It can be stacked with other gear in the car and on a cart. It comes with one lateral partition, but I added two others, unused from other cases, for better separation. There is only limited protection from the elements, so a tarp cover on the cart is useful. It lacks the large front pocket of other CAR bags, which makes it more compact and less likely overstuffed. The quality of materials and construction is very high, as usual, and the zippers are smooth and durable. I've been using Porta-Brace cases for audio and video for over 15 years. 5
