Connect your USB-C enabled laptop to the Internet with the Moshi USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter Silverfrom Moshi. This adapter features a reversible USB Type-C connector eliminating the possibility of inserting the cable in upside down. The other end of the adapter features a single Gigabit Ethernet port supporting ultra fast data transfer rates of up to 1000 Mbps. Within the adapter lies a single USB 3.1 (Gen 1) pass-through port making it easy to connect USB enabled peripherals to your MacBook. Once connected the anodized aluminum casing helps to minimize electromagnetic interference while the dedicated LED indicators show the link/activity status of the connection.

This plug-and-play adapter is designed to be used with the MacBook Pro (Retina, 13" & 15" Late 2016 models) and the MacBook (Retina, 12" model).

A: When you say 110 MBPS, do you mean bytes per second (usually denoted with a capital B ) or bits per second (usually denoted with a lower case b)? 110 MB/sec is 880 Mb/sec, which is quite reasonable on a gigabit network (1000 Mb/sec is the theoretical maximum, which you rarely approach). If on the other hand you mean 110 megabits/sec, something is wrong and you should check the following:1) is the adapter connecting at gigabit (Gb) speed on your network? There is are two LEDs on the adapter where the Ethernet cable attaches; make sure that the amber LED is on. If it isn't, you're not connecting to the switch at Gb speed.2) are you using a CAT 6 cable? CAT 5 will attenuate the speed.

Windows 7/8 automatically detects them and installs the appropriate drivers (plug & play). They are very helpful. I'm back to order more! 5

[Aluminum] When my PC started to have difficulty in finding my onboard network adapter on boot, I started to panic because I knew I did not have anymore slots on the mothboard for a card. So I did a search and was directed on @ to a fix that plugs into a USB connection and has an attendant connection for a network adapter A further search csme up with Trednet as a best bet for the service. It works beautifully. 5
