[1.1 lb (0.5 kg)] This is a pretty plain and simple product. It will fit in your rack mount cabinet, and it will hold stuff, 40 pounds of stuff according to Auray. I bet it would hold more, and definitely would if you supported it from the back. 5

[1.05 lb] This panel is made from .060 steel with a nice, semi-smooth powder coat paint. There are well-formed rear-facing flanges on the top and bottom for strength and stiffening that do not add to the total height of the panel. These will work well for building front panels for electronic equipment as well as blank-off plates. I have no reservation recommending these panels. 5
