[43.95 lb] I purchased this to complete my vision on building a mobile Cisco switch room on wheels...this did the trick.  I included some photos on how I modified it to work for me.  I added some L brackets in the back for extra stability and now it is solid and sturdy.

[43.95 lb] Well-built and easy to put together. Includes M5 and M6 screws. When you're assembling, be sure to pay attention to which size screw holes you want exposed. You may need to adjust the orientation of the corner pieces to make sure they're the right ones.

[Steel] Excellent value, sturdy casters, easy to construct. Pro tip: keep all screws nothing more than finger-tight until you fill the rack to your desire. Use a leveling tool or find the app for one on your phone when your rack is filled and you are ready to finish assembly. The four corner posts are easily interchangeable after initial assembly - just in case you need to switch them around. REMEMBER: nothing more than finger-tight with the screws until the rack is filled and level.

[16 RU] For the price, this is a great unit. The assembly takes a bit of time and the rack rails have to be installed carefully to make sure the correct screw size is facing outward. The rails have 2 screw sizes, one on one face, the other on the opposite side of the U. One of the sizes is 10-32, the other a bit larger. Both size screws are included but not easy to use because they don't have a truss tip. I use Middle Atlantic HPS screws. I wanted to recess my equipment a few inches to avoid bumping the controls. This was also difficult to do with this rack because the U-shaped threaded rails interfere with the usual recessing adapters. I had to mount the equipment directly to the back side of the U rail but this required taking off the side panel and bending the lip of the side panel. Of course, the black paint cracked where I bent the lip. Anyway, all the quirks aside, I still think this is a good value, especially if you don't need to recess your equipment.

[33 x 21 x 6"] Easy access to the back of my equipments, the cables are hidden behind the equipments. If plug-in to a power tree, then there is only one power hanging outside of the rack.

[16 RU] Have two of these and they are excellent!

[43.95 lb] This is my second Auray rack i put together, the first one was the 16 RU, for my internet stuff, and it worked fine, with a very mild load of router, switches and supporting a printer/fax on top, all weighing less then 40 lbs in total.

The 22 RU rack is supporting much much heavier equipment. I am talking about 225 lbs. Yes, and it feels solid and easy to move.


I give it 5 stars, for price, ease of building and the accessories it comes with.
