Q: 1. How long does the entire shipping process to Taiwan usually take ?The DHL site shows that the item has been in Frankfurt since 6/22.I've long been waiting for it.A little quicker, please?

Q: 2. What is the stop rating for the translucent fabric?

A: This fabric reduces the light by one stop.

Q: 3. Is this heat resistant?

A: Heat resistant do you mean for a light? I would not put this too close to a hot source but it can be a diffuser

Q: 4. Can 2 aluminum Photoflex LitePanels be clipped together to form a v-flat?

A: While it would be possible to clip almost any two panels together to make something akin to a V-Flat, the Photoflex Litepanel Aluminum Frame/Panel Reflector Kit #1 (B&H# PHLP3972AK) is neither designed for that nor does it come with the components for doing that.

Q: 5. How much lights in terms of f stops does the translucent cut?

A: The diffuser in this kit would have a 1 stop light loss on it.

Q: 6. Is this seamless?

A: No, this is not seamless.

Q: 7. What kind of screen do I need to use if I’m doing rear projection and I want to avoid a hotspot when viewing from the front.

A: You would want to use a rear projector screen to be able to do a rear projection and to avoid hot spotting you would need to use a projector that is not overly bright for the required distance an image size. Some screens that B&H offers for this are BH #SCEZF7410RP, B&H # ELOMS145H2PD, or B&H # ELOMS120H2DU.

Q: 8. How many stops diffusion does this give? 3/4 (like on a ScrimJim)? Or more like 1.25 - 1.5 like the diffusion fabric on Photflex soft boxes?

A: With this diffuser, you would lose about 1.25 stops of light.

Q: 9. What is the Approximate Light Loss from the Photoflex LitePanel Translucent Fabric?

A: About 1 - 1 1/2 Stop.

Q: 10. Does it unzip to make a translucent disc?

A: This model of reflector only has a silver and white side for reflection. You may be thinking of the Photoflex MultiDisc Circular Reflector, 5 Surfaces, 32 , which has a removable reflector cover to expose a translucent disc. [1 lb / 453.6 g] This is really a very good product. The material provides even light without sacrificing any more power than necessary, and the color seems perfectly neutral. I can set the camera's custom White Balance with it. Photoflex is always the best. I'm using it with direct studio flash shooting through the panel. A quick soft box rig can be made by placing the panel in front of a flash and umbrella. Since I use it only indoors I built a low-cost frame with 1/2-inch pvc water pipe.

[0.45 lb] Love using this as a flash diffuser! It leaves a nice rectangular shape that works well with glossy reflective objects like chrome, glass and glossy painted objects.
