Celestron NexStar+ AZ Hand Controller for Telescopesis the brain for their NexStar telescopes. This tethered hand box connects to, and is powered by, the mount via a coiled cord. Once connected, it puts a 40,000-object database in the palm of your hand and helps you to explore near and deep-sky celestial subjects from the Moon and planets to galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters. If you're not sure what is overhead, simply use the Tour Mode and the NexStar+ will show you the best objects based on your current location, date, and time.

Multiple set-up and alignment systems help to get you observing faster, while the 3 rates ensure accurate tracking all night with little correction required. Backlash compensation and Permanent Periodic Error Correction (PPEC) help to increase the smoothness, precision, and accuracy of tracking. Its 2-line/16-character LCD screen gives you access to the intuitive menu-driven user-interface for fast navigation of the sub-menus while showing you all information in red to preserve night-adjusted vision. Variable brightness levels for the screen and button backlight ensure comfortable use.

[0.585 lb] Best service to over seas costumers .. I had a damaged controler wt my 8 se telescope .. on intimating B&H they teplaced it immediately free of cost and paid the courier charges to India . Thanks to B& H team and costumer care of overses costumers 5

[0.585 lb] Due to a GPS rollover bug in my previous hand controller for my Nexstar 925 GPS telescope, I was forced to purchase a newer version of the hand controller that the firmware can be updated. Now all I need to do is update it to the latest version. I do miss the GPS align though, but at least the date will be set correctly and Skyalign will work properly. 5

[0.585 lb] Bought a Celestron telescope with Wi-Fi capability. It was a bit cumbersome to have a tablet or PC to control the telescope.. So I purchased the hand controller and it worked perfectly for a beginner. Still have a lot to learn, but atleast I can now easily setup the alignment on the telescope. Definitely worth the cost for me. 5
