A: Though this would connect to the camera, there is risk that an improper voltage may damage the camera, and we would not recommend this cable for powering the URSA Mini Pro. Tilta also states: "Before using confirm that your camera or device can handle the unregulated voltage from your power source." A response from Blackmagic Design recommended AVOIDING unregulated voltage sources: "...Unfortunately, we do not test with or recommend using a D-Tap to XLR cable to power the URSA Mini. A: So far this cable has been compatible with all microphones that sport a 5-pin connection (Sennheiser, Audio-Technica and more). That being said, Avatone suggested that there are no standards and upon request (info@avantonepro.com), they will email you the pin schematics. P.S. ck-40 ships with a break out box. If the box is still functional and present, any 5-pin to 5-pin cable should definitely work.

A: Hi Steve. This is a Rycote product, and cannot therefore be used with a Rde Blimp basket. The technology behind the Lyres originates with Rycote; however, we have licensed Rde to manufacture their own version, and so the Lyre that comes with and fits the VideoMic and similar/other products is designed and manufactured entirely by them. Rycote's official Lyres and suspensions are not incorporated: any versions you see on Rde products are made by them using their own materials and production methods under license, and fit using a different mechanism.
