Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I store c-stands in this?

A: It'll depend on how short the stand breaks down. I can just barely fit the grip arm (that measures a little under 42 ) in the bag. it has to go in diagonally to fit. I'd say 40 is the maximum length things can be without needing to jam them in.

Q: 2. How many c-stands could fit in here?

A: The turtle base C-stands will fit with the base removed, but not the non-detatchable base stands. I have three in my Lightware C6050 case. You could likely fit 5-6, however weight will be an issue. I limited my case to 3 C-stands so that my assistants don't break their backs lifting the cases.

Q: 3. Since all of the Canon users who have written reviews seem to have the older non IS versions. Has anyone experience of using this bag with the newer Canon ef 300mm f/2.8l is ii?

A: Update: Fits 200/2 with EF 1.4X on RP, without removing the top pouch. Will not fit my 1DX (with L bracket) with this combo (due width and height). Might just squeeze in with 200 only. Most likely the 5D4 would be fine with the 200 + 1.4, or the 300/2.8 fitted.

Q: 4. What is the internal height of the case with the "Trap Pack" removed?

A: It is roughly 13.5 inches tall. Since the interior is soft, slightly larger items can fit when the material compresses.

Q: 5. Would you trust the protection for checking this with two tripods inside?

A: Yes, we usually use this as a stand, soft box, tripod bag. We tend to put the tripod in another protective bag within the Lightware case because we have a full bag and fly with these bags all the time.

Q: 6. Can this case hold 2 Matthews Hollywood Baby Junior double riser stands ?

A: Yes, they will fit.

Q: 7. I am considering this case for a Canon 400mm f4 DO lens and 5DMIV body. If it fits the 300 mm 2.8, I'm assuming it will fit this as well?

A: I have 5D MIII and 300 2.8 IS and is a tight fit. Cant use above with 1.4 extender. Quality case. We

Q: 8. Can I fit a Nikon D500 attached to a 500 pf lens (with reversed hood attached) inside this bag?

A: The Lightware Z300 is 11 inches tall for the interior which is fine for the Nikon 500mm PF lens alone but not with a camera attached.

Q: 9. Does anyone know how to label these bags? I have many of them and I want them labelled for the right gear. Tags tend to rip off or break the strap. Tape tends to peel off.

A: The only way to label them is to use a tag. I would recommend using a tag with a steel wire so that it doesn't rip.

Q: 10. How many photographs will it hold?

A: this is a large bag . I carry about 8 20x30 foam core boards in it

[Zipper] This is the same bag that Astro Physics sells for more. Even though the internal dimensions are smaller than the dimensions listed for the Losmandy HD Folding Tripod, it fits great.

[Handle] I can put as much as I want in this bag. I'll give out before the bag does. I've got 8 light stands, a couple arms, head cords, ext. cords, reflectors, rolls of correction and diffusion, and a small grip bag in it with room to spare. Very well made, and looks professional as well.

[Handle] I use this for my skateboard wheels that are for Fisher 10 and 11 dollies as well as doorway dollies. The wheels can be heavy on their own. This soft pack case is light but heavy duty. I have another one that still looks good after 6 years of use. A hard case would make this very heavy. I highly recommend this case.

[Black] I use the S1010 for transporting a Ranger RX, together with a spare battery case, charger, skyport, and also a Ranger head, 7 reflector and head extension cable inside a Lightware Large Head Pouch (H7020) lying horizontally across the top. In this configuration, everything fits snugly and is very well protected. Since the Ranger RX Speed A/S is taller than the Ranger RX, you cannot lay the Large Head Pouch across the top, so I usually use the T3040 Strobe Head Case for the A/S. Another nice thing about the S1010 is that two Lightware Large Head Pouches fit perfectly if you remove the center divider. I use this to carry a second Ranger head and a Ranger RX Ringflash.

[4.95 lb] It was shown as an accessory for the Celestron CPC Deluxe 1100. I assumed it would be the perfect case for the heavy duty tripod that comes with it. The case itself is very well made, the price implies that, outstanding protection, heavy duty zippers and handle. The only but, the tripod with the accessory tray attached won't fit in the case. My fix to this is to remove the tray and using a large piece of foam store the tray in the case separate from the tripod.

[Handle] I purchased three of these for some Speedotron packs that I own and they are a perfect fit for the pack and power cord. Sturdy sides with a good quality zipper. The padding is just enough for regular travel to locations and studios. I would not use them for airline travel. I have always been happy with lightware products and these did not disappoint.

[Yes] This is without a doubt the very best option for storing and transporting strobe kits, this one is my third for DynaLite equipment: 2000, 1600, and 1000 power packs and strobe heads; we been using Lightware camera and strobe cases for many years; they are well made and durable offering maximum protection for photo equipment.
