The RODE Lavalier Microphone Kit with 3.5mm MiCon Connectoris a quality lavalier with an omnidirectional polar pattern and condenser element well suited for general speech pickup in sermons, presentations, instruction, interviews, etc. The microphone's cable terminates in a proprietary MiCon connection that allows you to select from a number of optional adapters. This makes it usable with virtually any wireless bodypack transmitter. The microphone ships in a protective storage case and includes a waterproof pop-filter, wind-muff, and clip.

A: Works great! Make sure you buy the connectors you need to hook up to a sound recorder or straight in to the 6D. You'll need an extension if you hard line it into the camera but a Zoom H4N should be great as well.

[0.555 lb] Of all the lav mics I own, this one is my favorite. The sound is crisp without being too crisp and full but not muddy....I think of this as a goldilocks mic - especially for my needs. This one holds its own against mics costing hundreds more (ask me how I know!).... highly recommended. 5

[Black] A quality lavalier that solves one of the problems inherent with these mics, i.e., a modular cable that can be replaced if the attachment to the mic or plug becomes worn. Can be used with an XLR cable as a condenser mic (needs phantom power) or with a 1/8 plug (with a recorder that has a power boost capability). 5

[Black] Bought this to go with our Saramonic UWMic9 transmitters, to replace the rather large ones included in the kit. The Micon adapter is a really great design, allowing you to adapt these mics to different body packs and uses. Gives them a bit of future proofing and flexibility to be used with wireless packs, or hardwired with a separate XLR adapter. Really impressed with how this sounds - definitely recommend them! 5
