[0.385 lb] I use this collar with some heavy Nikon glass with a Novoflex adapter. The bias of the foot to one side helps compensate for the natural unbalance with the NEX-7 attached. The handy screw (mounted upside down from the shown image) is perfect and quickly allows position change from horizontal to vertical perspective.

[Yes] I wasted money buying the knock off. This collar holds the Sony 70-300 perfectly! It is securely holding the lens and doesn't loosen or slide off the back of the lens. I shoot insects so my rig is often pointed down and I have had zero issues with this on my Manfrotto monopod.

[Yes] Works perfectly with the Sony 90mm G OSS macro and the a6000 body. The thinner ring is required for that lens though due to the thicker throat of the Sony 90mm macro. Balances perfectly on a flat surface or tripod after it's installed. Only complaint is the long screw can get in the way of the lens lock button & grip depending on hand size. That's an easy fix simply by unscrewing the collar from the base plate and installing it backwards if the long screw gets in your way. All in all it's a quality product that does it's job properly. Holds my lens & a6000 body with zero wobble on a flat surface or tripod

[0.385 lb] I am using a Leica R tele lens (Apo 180mm f3.4) on my Nex7 using a Novoflex adapter. This combo gives me great resolution but (except for full sun) a tripod or mono pod is required to take advantage of the optical quality. The tripod mount on the camera works only with small and light lenses but otherwise is useless as it flexes too much. This tripod mount is attached on the the lens adapter and allows to rotate the camera. It very well made and has 1/4 & 3/8 thread and arcs swiss size dovetail plate in 2 directions. I only wish the clamp nut would be on the other side that there is more space at the camera grip.

[0.385 lb] I bought this as a add-on for my Novoflex adapters. Simply put it definitely is highly recommended for shooting with longer lenses or off tripod. The foot allows you to attach any standard threaded QR plate and the attachment screw is easy to operate with or without gloves on. One tip I can recommend is to reverse the way it screws in so it operates from the top and doesn't obstruct the lens release button on the body.

[0.385 lb] Purchased for use with my Sigma 14mm f/1.8 this amazing lens weighs in at 2.6 lbs. Now I know that both Sony and Sigma's design and engineering team do their home work before producing a final product. I did not feel comfortable with this lens mounted on my 7RII for hours at a time (Astro Photography).
This Nex adapter is an other example of excellent engineering. Not very large In built or weight it is more than capable.
Highly recommend. I give it five stars plus.

[0.385 lb] First of all, usual super service from B & H, and flash delivery.
Beautiful precision construction from Novoflex.
In my case, it works very well with the fittings etc., on the Monfrotto 486RC2 8 ball swivel or the Monfrotto 322RC2 swivel pistol grip to the Gitzo GT3533LS Gitzo tripod.
Could have asked for nothing better.

[Yes] As is often the case, Novoflex adapters are made more3 carefully and fit more smoothly than less expensive adapters. The downside of course is that they also cost more. I think they are worth it to be sure that you do not damage the mount on the camera body or the lens.
