The A7 7" Full HD Camera-Top Monitor from Lilliput features an 8-bit 16:10 IPS LCD panel that offers a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 for producing sharper and clearer images. It offers a brightness rating of 500 cd/m², contrast ratio of 1000:1, and 170° wide viewing angles. The monitor provides various auxiliary functions such as pixel zoom, level meter, false color, peaking, exposure, check field, color bar, histogram, pixel-to-pixel, image flip, over/underscan, and center/screen marker. In addition, it also comes with dual user-definable function buttons (F1/F2).

A: Yes. There should be a way to make it so the Fullscreen can be used. But, keep in mind, you might need to get your output from the A7S correct.Wish I could test this because I shoot Blackmagic, but go to HDMI Settings (I think you might need to be in Photography mode to get the setting) HDMI Display Info and turn that OFF.

A: The monitor native resolution is 1920x1080 with accepting 4k input signal with displaying down scale to 1080p . The screen is glossy display.

[12 W] I am a professional cinematographer, I use this as an on-cam monitor, in addition to a 17inch reference monitor. Great monitor for the money, looks sturdy, all accessories included, various battery plates appreciated. It does not feel or look cheap. Used it for two weeks so far, with a Sony FS7, no glitches. Nice waveform and other exposure monitoring tools. I power it off the camera battery with a p-tap to DC connector wire. Everything works as advertised. Brightness outside is reasonable, but not incredible. With the supplied top/side hood (which is well built, btw) it is ok, but I will add another piece of black board on the bottom so as to cut all glare. Nice zoom feature, plus peaking, since I mostly use it for checking focus. Colors also look quite close to the truth. The 5 star rating is also in regard to the very affordable price for a full HD of its size. 5

[12 W] I purchased this monitor after reviewing many others. I wanted something with a great picture but at a reasonable price for personal gear. I am not sure about the ghosting problems mentioned, this might be an issue with HDMI. I can speak to using with SDI. It has a clean 1080P image with great color. I shoot Red and Arri often for work and I have used many professional monitors. This monitor when using SDI has put out a great image thus far. You can also purchase a DTap to DC plug for powering the unit. It seems brighter and easier to view then some on board monitors I have used. Overall for the price I would say it is a good value monitor. 5

[1920 x 1200] Works great. I have it attached to my tripod to act as a live view and review for clients. I power it with a usb power bank which can go all day. No need for expensive sony batteries. I use a dummy usb. I use it for stills not video. Really helps when styling an image in real time with out taking a shot, review, repeat. Clients really like it as opposed to working with a cumbersome laptop set up. 5

[1000:1] Bought the 7 for me and the 5 for a friend. I prefer this 5 model for the A7II I use. Its bright, comes with a hood, and a single battery plate that takes NP and LP06 batteries. I liked that very much. 5
