Add extra connectivity to your USB Type-C equipped notebook with the Manhattan USB 3.0 Type-C Hub Compact Designfrom Manhattan. This hub features one USB Type-A port, one USB Type-C port, and one HDMI port. The Type-A port supports data transfer at up to 5 Gb/s, ideal for flash drives and peripherals. USB 3.1 Gen 1 features a maximum throughput of 5 Gb/s. USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.0 are synonymous. The Type-C port supports charging so you can keep your system powered while using the hub. Lastly, the HDMI port can be used to connect an external monitor to your system for enhanced multitasking capabilities. This hub is bus-powered, so no external power supply is required. Simply plug it in, and you're all set.

A: Yes. I've plugged a few different kinds of USB 3 card readers into it. I haven't verified it through measurement, but it seems to be operating at the same USB3 speed as my iMac.

[5 MΩ] B&H professional team always makes good recommendations for your needs. This was no different. Works like a charm for my older equipment, i.e. printer, old external hard drives. There is a working speed loss on the old Seagate of course, so rather than work LrC to it, I purchased a new Sandisk. For access to the store photos - works fine. 5

[6.5 x 5.5 x 1"] I have a Macbook Pro Touch and have been wanting one of these for a while. I saw a B&H special and purchased one. I have to say, it is great. Compact so it doesn't add any additional weight, but sturdy to do the job. I have used it for all of the attachments and Does what it says. I recommend it highly. 5

[1.1 oz / 31 g] The Satechi USB Type-C Combo Hub (Blue) is exactly what I needed to allow for additional components to be used with my Mac desktop. Since the Mac only has a few USB-C ports included, this hub allows me to have three standard USB ports for my existing devices as well SD and Mini-SD card slots. [3" / 8 cm] I have worked with IOGEAR products over the years and they have always performed at a high level. Today's tablets have a minimal amount of USB ports and this levels the field when needing to hook up other peripherals. It is such a good purchase, I purchased one for my wife's new computer.
