Utilizing a powerful, yet efficient 230 W LED and a 10" diameter Fresnel lens, the DeSisti Super LED F10 VW Vari-White Fresnel Manualfrom DeSisti Super LED F10 VW Vari-White Fresnel Manualhas adjustable color temperature from 2800 to 6600K allowing you to match any other light source and handle any type of ambient light conditions. The light can easily replace a legacy fixture and provide a versatile spot-to-flood beam angle of 8 to 50°. The specialized chip-on-board LED array offers a high CRI/TLCI of 94/96 for accurate color rendition. The unit is also DMX controlled with smooth dimming from 0-100%. It has a high efficiency, Self-Stabilizing Active Cooling system for thermal regulation and a durable, lightweight carbon steel housing to protect the electronics. In addition, it has a built-in universal 90-250 VAC power supply for worldwide use and comes with a 4-way barn door set and a color frame.

The innovative variable white phosphors LED array provides the ability to modulate the Correlated Color Temperature from a minimum of 2800K to a maximum of 6600K with an enhanced CRI (Color Rendering Index) higher than 94 at any CCT within the range.

10" (250mm) diameter, high quality, shock resistant borosilicate glass Fresnel lens on spring supports. Special patented optics for LED technology.

Rugged and lightweight carbon steel housing with low glare black epoxy powder coating, with internal double walls and reinforcement.

High efficiency, self-stabilizing active cooling: automatic, thermal stabilization of the LED operating temperature is managed by an internal thermal sensor and CPU, variable speed fan and heat sink to maintain the LED Array's constant temperature at a maximum of 149°F (65°C). The hydrodynamic bearing fan operates silently with a very low RPM.

Special patented optics for LED technology

Steel cable driven focus mechanism which guides Teflon bushings supports LED engine along 2 rods. This ensures smooth operation during focusing, in any tilted position of the fixture. The Teflon bushings also provide a wiping action, which cleans the steel guide rails during focus. The focusing mechanism can be activated from both front and rear of the fixture and the entire spot-to-flood action is accomplished with 1.5 turn of the focusing knob.

The unit is equipped with a hinged lens door with a wire-guard and includes accessory holding brackets. One of the 4 brackets has a locking knob and is spring loaded; it can be locked to safely hold the barn doors, color frame and scrims. It can also be rotated 90° and locked in an open position for fast accessories changes. A double safety accessory bracket with spring loaded catch is available as an option to be assembled opposite to the locking knob. The accessories are designed for one hand installation and are secure regardless of the orientation of the fixture.

[240 W ] If you want a quick way to shape the light from your 600d there is no better way than using the F10 barndoors. The unit can rotate on the light to get it in just the right position. 5

[240 W ] Fantastic lights and act very similar to their fresnel counterparts. Output is around that of a 700 watt fresnel. Haven't had it long enough to see how durable they are but they look like they can take a beating. Being able to dim and adjust color temp is such a nice luxury to have. I would love for them to get the weight down or release the active cooling units. Has anyone found a good travel case for them to fit in? 5

[2800 to 6600K] I fell in love with this light while working on a web series, which means low budget, small crew, tight places. This light could do it all, and was used 90% of the time. The low amp draw with good output along with the color changing (both Color Temperature, and also party colors) was perfect. Can't wait to use it for everything. 5

[2800 to 6600K] This attachment adds another dimension the use of the 600d by allowing you to focus the powerful light into a spot or a soft edged circle for dramatic light effects. It's heavy, but to do what it does, it needs to be. A very useful accessory. 5

[240 W ] I purchased this light not to replace but to supplement the flash I work with now. I'd been contemplating starting an HMI collection but the relative high globe replacement costs and electricity consumption kept me away. Whilst I didn't expect the output to match the 1.2k HMI I was pleasantly surprised by the output. But the most impressive feature is the level of control built in to the unit. No messing around with ND grids or CC filters speeds up the workflow enormously. I usually shoot medium format digital at 50 ISO so I'm under no illusions that these lights with their present output can replace flash with the work I do now. But it is an exciting entry into continuous light sources for me. Another string in the bow. The predicted ability to upgrade the Light Engine (Arri's term for the LED array) to more powerful units in the future is another unique selling point. 5

[240 W ] WE are going to replace all 14 Fresnels in the studio with the LED lights, these are fantastic, they are not HOT and the subjects like this, they draw little power and I like that. Best technology in a long time, Thanks ARRI. 5
