[1x DC Barrel] Works with my old GoPro 3+ with the open-back case. The wire fits through the slots in the case back just fine. If you have a skeleton case, so much the better. It has breathed new life into my old camera. 5

[1x D-Tap] I used this for an all day time lapse shoot. I powered it from my iPhone cube USB Charger. The GoPro had the partially open back. On the case. Camera Hero3+ was in the sun most of the day. There was no over heating as others had reported. Perfect product works exactly as advertised. To the mfg. please make one for a weather resistance application like light rain. 5

[1x DC Barrel] The only thing about this that could almost make it 4 stars is the price. If you use it all the time, then it's worth it. Or if you just use standard GH4 batteries, although they last a long time - this thing will give you days worth of battery. It has a bonus tap on the block to use and also gives you a light signal that you are providing power. The benefit here, unlike the Canon version that connects to the V-mount top is you do not have to slide the whole top of the mount off to disconnect the power. All you have to do is remove the p-tap and you are good and will not drain the battery. Peace of mind for long shoots where batteries can be a headache. 5

[Aluminum] Takes the place of multiple batteries, by being able to plug into the cars USB port. I purchased this in order to video log a scenic road trip; the battery eliminator saves the hassle of having to swap out the GoPro battery every couple of hours. I would recommend this alternative to anyone having a similar purpose in mind. 5
