Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with Watson - NP-F975 Lithium-Ion Battery ?

A: HiI'm not absolutely sure. This light usually comes with the NP f970 battery.BH should be able to tell you if the two batteries can be used alternatively.

Q: 2. is there any photometries ?

A: Yongnou lists this light as having a power output of 40 Watts and a CRI of 95.

Q: 3. Does Yongnuo YN300 Air comes with an AC adapter?

A: The recommended power adapter is this 12v power supply: FUACADPTR12V. It is not included with the light. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1302123-REG/yongnuo_ac_adapter_12v.html

Q: 4. What ac adapter you use with these?

A: We recommend the Fujia Appliance 12V AC Power Supply for this light, BH #FUACADPTR12V. https://bhpho.to/2Nwmmc8

Q: 5. Will the yn600RGB work with 2 - np-fv100 batteries?

A: I'm afraid not. This light is powered by Sony NP-F style batteries, not NP-FV style. We have very nice kits from Dracast that feature two batteries and a charger. They are B&H Numbers DRBK2NPF2200 and DRBK2NPF6600.https://bhpho.to/2lO5VaOhttps://bhpho.to/2qxMAxq

Q: 6. How many Lux at 1m?

A: As stated by the manufacture the Lux at 1m Single light at temperature of 2700k is 6720lux, at temperature of 5600k is8440lux, at temperature of 6500k is 8200lux, with standard reflector at temperature of 2700k is 15900lux, at temperature of 5600k is 20100lux, at temperature of 6500k is 19400lux. Q: 7. Are there barn doors that we can buy separately? What model? The lights don't come with barndoors.

A: I'm sorry but there are no barn doors available for these lights.

Q: 8. Is this light good for filming at 240fps?

A: Yongnuo has not posted what are the flicker-free FPS rates for their lights. You would have to test before you do a job. Other solutions would be to use sunlight or incandescent fixtures.

Q: 9. How soft is the diffusion on this light? Is there any extra diffusion I can purchase separately?

A: The diffusion on this light is quite soft, but if you wanted to add more diffusion, there is the Rosco E-Colour #250 1/2 White Diffusion (21 x 24 Sheet) B&H # ROE250S. This can be cut to size and attached to the panel using ProTapes Pro Gaffer Tape (2 x 12 yd, Black) B&H # PRGT12B.

Q: 10. Is there a trick to getting the remote to work with this? My remote won't seem to even turn on.

A: Make sure the batteries have a charge, are inserted into the remote and light correctly and everything is on. If still no, it may be a repair issue. I would suggest contacting B&H Customer Service to arrange an exchange or return. https://bhpho.to/2caRE5L

[Passive] If you use a webcam, and you care that your image is sufficiently illuminated for your viewers to see, then you really should consider this item. Its on-off switch on the back also controls its brightness (K) that you prefer for your viewed image. It can stand on your desk or table, or be suspended from a boom mount.
To power it, I recommend the 12v Fujia Appliance AC Power Adapter.

[Passive] The reviews on photo websites promised a great light, and they were right. Easy to use, nice color range, crank it up all the way and it's so bright you'll need shades. After I put the three parts in the box together wrong a couple times (it was four times), I had to resort to the instructions... Then it was easy. I like this light so much I thinking about getting another one.

[50,000 Hours] I used this light for a tv program and it performed well. The ability to change the color temperture is also an asset.

[110°] I wasted a day researching LED lights and ended with these. I was going to buy the YN600's but opted for the YN900's for the extra lumens that will come in handy. CRI is excellent, they look very good and I think we're going to see Yongnuo challenge a lot of established brand names. Build quality is great and the wireless connectivity for adjusting color and brightness with the remote, app, or main unit is incredible. Multiple light setups take seconds to setup and light right. Only gripe is not having the A/C Adapters included, and Yongnuo really needs to build a proper American ENGLISH website and polish their apps by removing Asian characters. Be sure to buy ball heads for your light stands if you want to angle these lights.

[40 W ] If you have a lot of cash burning a hole in your pocket, then by all means pick up the Arri Skypanel S60-C, Litepanels Gemini, or Digital Sputnik DS-1. If like me, you're on a budget, then you owe it to yourself to pick up a couple of these LED panels. I did a review of the YN600's little brother, the YN360 wand, so check that out, as these lights provide essentially the same outcome, with similar albeit slightly nuanced controls - with one important exception. Since the YN600 RGB and 3200K/5500K circuits are powered separately, you can run them simultaneously. Meaning you can reduce the color saturation on these panels, by bringing in touch of daylight to suit your taste. Which, in turn, means you can use a pair of these as creative primary lights (e.g. tungsten key, teal fill, etc.) without needing gels. I recommend you pick up a couple YN360's while you're at it, to splash some color on your backgrounds. You won't regret it. Now you can paint your scenes with color like the big dogs, but at a fraction of the cost of the aforementioned Hollywood heavyweights.
