Q: 1. Can this mini grip head be used separately for other purposes than the reflector holder or is it made specifically for this reflector holder? Can the boom be detached from the grip head?

A: The boom clamp (grip head) for this arm can be separated from the arm. While it can fit tube diameters from 0.5-0.75”, it is best used with this particular arm.

Q: 2. The image does not show the rubber cover on the grip handle. Does the Avenger D200 include the rubber cover on the T-handle?

A: The blue rubber handle cover is included with the D200B, despite it not being pictured.

Q: 3. Is this similar to the Manfrotto one, are they the same?

Q: 4. Does the D400 use aluminum break disk like Matthews? Or does it have the cheaper rubber disk on the more budget brands?

A: Avenger uses cork for the material of the disk in the Avenger D400 4.5" Grip Head with Junior Pin.

Q: 5. Can you take the rubber knob grip off the handle if you don't want it on?

A: It'll take great effort but yes you can

Q: 6. What size tubes can this clamp hold?

A: The slotted disc accepts round tubes of 10/13/16mm diameters.

Q: 7. I made the mistake of purchasing a cheaper alternative and the grip head wiggles on the clamp. Is this an issue with these too?

A: When the grip head is tighten down on the Avenger D230 Super Clamp Grip Head (Black) it does not move. It is very well made.

Q: 8. does each knob tighten its set of grip plates independently of the other?

A: Yes, each knob can tighten its grip plates independently.

Q: 9. Can I use the Avenger RH353 Reflector Holder with a Manfrotto 5001B?

A: I use my RH353 with a Manfrotto 5001BAC...had some difficulty attaching the clamp to the top section of the light stand, as the diameter of the light stand pole seemed a bit too large for the RH353's clamp. Ultimately got it to work, though. Used indoors only with a 40 collapsible reflector attached with the holder at approx. 90 degrees to the light stand, and the whole rig was very stable. BobH

Q: 10. Hi!! Will this fit in Manfrotto 5002BL Nano Plus Stand (6.5')?

A: yes. just would suggest a sandbag to weigh down the unit so it stays in place.

[3.235 lb] The D250 gag gobo is Multifintional always and avenger trade is durable. I have a Avanger A660 that I used for 10 years and I hope that my D250 last more. 5

[Double Gag] I trust this for anything, and it is a pleasure to use. The nice rubber gripped big handle really is easy on the hands, even when cranking it tight, which it does very smoothly. It costs a slight more than the others, but is worth it. 5

[Aluminum] I used it to create Clamshell lighting. It holds both extension arms. One arm hold upper lighting and another holds bottom lights. Must have one. 5

[Aluminum] I originally bought 3 of these to use with the Avenger F1000 to mount my Manfrotto tripod to cars. Since getting them I have found about 10 other uses for them, from lighting booms to weird camera mounts. I have nothing bad to say about these things. You should by 10 of them. 5

[Silver] I use this to hold butterfly frames. Its compact and grips well and does the place of a cartolini combined w a gobo head. Highly recommend it!! I own four of these. 5

[3.235 lb] I use one for gripping two arms together perpendicularly, then mount two mics for stereo on the vertical rod. The other I use to mount a shotgun mic holder. The mechanism is second to none for tightening and looseneing. The handle is nice and big for ease of use, but not too big that it gets in the way. Just right. 5
