This ARRI Cylindrical Marking Disk WCU-3 Hand Unitis compatible with the WCU-3 hand unit knob. Use a non-permanent marker to apply temporary focus marks to its surface. This round plastic unit may be used as a replacement or additional marking disk.

Q: 1. Does it need the high bright monitor to work, or can it be used on it's own?

A: You do not need the DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor, B&H # DJHBRM, in order to use the DJI Focus Pro Hand Unit.

Q: 2. Are these compatible with the Arri SXU-1 (Single Axis Unit)?

A: Yes it is. This can be used with B&H # ARSXU1 as well.

Q: 3. Will this work with the nano motor?

Q: 4. Is there an accessory bracket needed to mount the DJI high bright monitor? Or does it come with the system?

A: Currently the DJI Hi Bright Display mount has not been released. Also, the new cable hub has not been released.

Q: 5. Can this be used with just the focus motors or does it have to be used with the gimbal as well?

A: The DJI Focus Pro Hand Unit is a totally wireless controller only for zoom focus and iris. Its small display mimics many of the functions of the DJI Focus Pro Hand Grip. The hand grip can control two motors and is the brain that connects to the DJI Focus Pro Lidar and can power motors as well from its BG21 battery for up to 5-7 hours. Basically, the Focus Pro grip is an RS4 gimbal brain on a handle.

Q: 6. Is there a way to easily/quickly switch between different focus motors in a multi cam shoot from the hand controller?

A: Yes, you could quickly pair another motor. However, having a second Hand Controller would be the best option and paired to the motors on the second Unit. While it is fast a second hand controller paired and setup would be the best way to work quickly and without setup delays on set.

Q: 7. Which batteries should you buy for this?

A: This is powered by two style 18650 batteries which are not included and must be sourced separately. We do not sell them at this time.

Q: 8. Does this work with Ronin 4D? Some reviews on YouTube say it does.

A: Yes, the DJI Focus Pro Hand Unit can be used with the DJI Ronin 4D 4-Axis Cinema Camera when used with the DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor connected via the DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor Holder.

Q: 9. Is there way to send specific focus marks through the touch screen and then auto rack focus to those marks? (Not A/B end point)

A: In DJI Focus Pro in spot mode, you can select the target through the Handle screen.

Q: 10. does this fit in a Nuclueus M case?

A: Yes, the Tilta ARRI-Standard Rosette Adapter can fit in a Nucleus M case.

[1.1 oz (30 g)] I find the muscle memory of using these premarked rings is incredibly helpful in my work as a commercial focus puller. This way, on different sets of lenses I still work with essentially the same throw, so there's less time on the job where I need to learn the lens. I find the 8 ring specifically helpful for music videos, where the artist comes very close to the lens, and also backs up to 12-15 ft all in the same shot. 5
