Q: 1. Will this work with the 470-542 receivers?

A: Yes, the Shure UA8-470-636 Wideband 1/2 Wave Receiver Antenna (A: 470 to 636 MHz) works with receivers that operate between 470 to 636 MHz.

Q: 2. The BLX 188 did not come with Antenna, though the 2-pack system has installation points for 2 antenna. Will these (2x) work?

A: No, the Shure UA8-470-636 Wideband 1/2 Wave Receiver Antenna (A: 470 to 636 MHz) is not compatible for use with the Shure BLX88 Dual-Channel Tabletop Wireless Receiver included with the Shure BLX188 Wireless Microphone System. The BLX88 receiver has internal antennas that are built-in, but it does not have installation points for external antennas.

Q: 3. Have anyone tried to used them for Lectrosonics, ZAXCOM or WISYCOM receivers? How well does it work?

A: The Shure UA860SWB Passive Omnidirectional Antenna is designed specifically for use with the Shure SLX, ULX, UC, UHF, and UHF-R Wireless Receivers and covers the frequency range of 470 to 1100 MHz. We have not tested the antenna with wireless receivers from other manufacturers like Lectrosonics, Zaxcom, or Wisycom to be able to confirm compatibility.

Q: 4. Does it work with SLX-D24D G58 and H55?

A: Yes, For G58 unit as the antenna is designed for a (470-542 MHz) No, for the H55 unit as it is designed based on a (H55: 514 to 558 MHz)

Q: 5. Can this antenna be use with two UA844+SWB connected to four QLXD4, and four ULXS4 receivers?

A: Yes, these antennas can be used with the UA844+ so long as the frequency range of the antennas cover the frequencies used on the systems.

Q: 6. Does this work with SLXD4 receiver system ?

A: Yes, the Shure UA8-470-636 Wideband 1/2 Wave Receiver Antenna (A: 470 to 636 MHz) is compatible for use with the SLXD4 wireless receiver. You will need to use two of these antennas. To mount the antennas, you can use the Shure UA505 Remote Antenna Bracket Mounting Kit - Includes: Mounting Bracket, Bulkhead Adapter, Bulkhead Adapter Nut (B&H # SHUA505). [0.15 lb] too many wireless mic receivers come with tiny antennas. Boost your gain and keep things connected with a half wave of Shure!

[0.15 lb] All I can say is get these. If you're having issues, dropouts, noise etc. a pair of these will remedy most or all problems when used correctly. We use multiple wireless microphones for conferences and presentations in all kinds of different venues. Prior to use of these we used the 1/2 wave antennas mounted on front of of the receiver rack. It was always a struggle trying to find an acceptable location for the receiver rack that was both out of the way and optimum for best antenna/receiver operation. With the UA860SWB we place them on a dual mic bar on a tall mic stand allowing us to get the UA860SWB's above the audience. With the supplied 25' cable it's much easier to find a footprint for the receiver rack and place the UA860SWB's in direct line of site of the mic's.

[0.15 lb] Shure wireless microphone systems are popular with many Churches and event spaces. They come equipped with 1/4 wave antennas and utilize the chassis of the receiver as part of the antenna. When multiple receivers are to be used in one large areas a Shure UA844 distribution system is often utilized. The correct antenna for these systems is a frequency matched 1/2 wave. The UA844 does not use its chassis as part of the antenna only the 1/2 wave antenna receives signal. This design allows (within limits) for the antenna to be located away from the rack stack out in the performance space using high quality coax. Our installation had 1/4 waves, these 1/2 waves have improved the level and distance of our wireless microphones. Also with all the FCC frequency auctions, and crowding of spectrum use the Shure website channel selector in conjunction with your model no. and zip code to find suggested groups and channel settings for your location.

[0.15 lb] I bought this to help extend our microphone antenna range at an outdoor amphitheater we record at. No more dropouts! For years we were frustrated by the drop outs on our mics. Since remoting this antenna that is rated for outdoor use, we have had ZERO drop outs. Great design and easy to install into our existing system.

[0.15 lb] Bought to improve signal reception due to frequent dropouts and we want to be able to remote mount in the future. The construction is solid. Antenna is about 13 inches long. Works well with the Shure SLX4 receiver. We saw a definite improvement in the radio signal over the basic 1/4 wave antennas. Works on any frequency between 470-636.
