Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. I'm a parent and I'd like to purchase this for my kids/students. There are 4 of them. Do I have to purchase 4 licenses?
A: Yes... The annual subscription is applicable to single users. If at any time, the four students will be using the software simultaneously, then each user will require a unique license.
Q: 2. When does the 1 Year subscription start, purchase date or login date with Adobe? Thank You
A: The subscription start date is when the plan is activated with Adobe. Not the purchase date.
Q: 3. Is this suite Mac compatible?
A: Yes, it is Mac compatible.
Q: 4. I've purchased this before using my student email address. Still currently using it. Could I purchase it again to redeem under a separate Adobe ID but still use my same student email address as proof of eligibility?
A: You can only register the software with one email account. If you purchase it and still have the same email associated with the previous account then you have to wait for the year to run out until you can use the newly purchased one.
Q: 5. Can a middle schooler get this plan?
A: Yes ;)
Q: 6. How do you activate this once you buy it?
A: B&H will email you an activation code. After you download and install creative cloud you can activate it within the program with that code. You will have to create an adobe login and the lic will follow you with your login. We had it on the laptop and desktop and it worked great on both but not at the same time.
Q: 7. We need one teacher and two student subscriptions. Should we purchase two of the Teacher/Student subscriptions or will one accommodate multiple students? Thank you.
A: Adobes terms allow for installation on two computers per license, however only one computer may be running the software at a time. If all three computers will be running the Creative Cloud software at the same time, you will need three licenses.
Q: 8. Does the code expire? Would I be able to activate the product at a later time?
A: It does not expire. The timing of the subscription does NOT start until the activation and from there is when the subscription starts.
Q: 9. After using 1 year, does the code automatically get deactivated and don't charge anything? Or do I need to go adobe website and deactivate it?
A: The same thing happened to me 2 month ago, I was charged twice the price for two month. I bought it for $15.75 per month, but I was charged $29.90 per month. They didn't inform me about it till I realized charge on my credit card statement. Now I will buy it cheaper on BH and redeem the code.
Q: 10. Does the software stay in my computer so I am able to work on illustrations & photos when I am not at home & not connected to the internet, when I have this subscription?
A: Yes, it is installed on the computer and works with Internet access. It only needs to authorize it self every few days.
