A: Regarding the ARRI ARRILITE 750 Plus, yes, you would be able to attach a color correction gel and a softbox at the same time; however, dialing in a specific color temperature becomes problematic.

Q: 2. Will the speed ring that comes with this light accept medium Quartz + Daylite softboxes from Chimera as well?If not, what is the speed ring diameter for this light, so I can seperately purchase one that fits my needs?

A: As the ARRI Arrilite 750 Plus comes with an accessory holder that allows you to use softboxes without speedrings, if you are referring to either the Chimera Quartz Plus Softbox - Medium - 36x48 (90x120cm), B&H # CHQPBM, or the Chimera Quartz Plus 1 Bank - Medium - 36x48 (91x122cm), B&H # CHQP1BM, then yes, both should be able to connect to the Arrilite 750 without the purchase of a separate speedring.

Q: 3. The spec sheet says this light accepts 750, 575 and 375W HPL lamps, but I couldn't find any 375W HPL lamps with a G9.5 base on B&H. Where can I find an appropriate one for a 220VAC, 50Hz socket?

A: Jay - I would have to say if B&H doesn't carry any 375W HPL lamps with a G9.5 base, then they REALLY must be tough to find. I bought the Arrilite 750 Plus specifically because I was looking for a high output light. I coupled it with the 36x48 Chimera Medium Video Pro Plus 1 Softbox. A powerful, super creamy soft light had been recommended by DPs Alex Buono and Shane Hurlbut for solo filmmakers ( like myself ). Something that would be powerful and easy to set up and break down. I added the Impact D1000 1,000W AC Dimmer Control to give me some flexibility without worrying about changing out lamps.Both the Arrilite 750 Plus and the Chimera Softbox work great together, and do produce a lovely wrap-around light for interview subjects - which was my need. Maybe the dimmer is an idea for you? Hope this helps . . .

Q: 4. Can this work with CLM-3

A: No, the ACM-1 Active cforce Motor Controller with UBUS interface will only work with ARRI Cforce motors. It does not support ARRI CLM-3 Motors.

Q: 5. What plug do I need to buy for the ARRI Arrilite 2000 Plus?

A: If running a 2000 watt lamp in this Arri fixture, you would need a plug such as the Altman Male Edison Nema 5-20P Connector (20A) B&H # ALEC20M.

A: Yes - This instrument gets hot - but you should be able to lamp it with 575 W or 750 W HPL bulbs. No dimmer is built into the instrument,

Q: 9. Hi, do we know what is the wireless range of the WCU 4 ? Can't find it online nor on the manual. Thx !

A: The max wireless range of the ARRI WCU-4 FIZ System with ERM-2400 Set is around 3280 feet.

Q: 10. Will this work for the Tilta Nucleus-M motor?

[4.8 x 3 x 0.3"] The 2000 Plus is great, I've always owned the original Arrilite 2000s with the plastic casing that easily melts. The plus reflector is also a lot more efficient. 5

[4.8 x 3 x 0.3"] This kit is perfect for lighting a green screen, large interior area, etc... I like fireing these through a 12x silk or half grid to make a nice large soft source for fill or key. The new reflector design looks alot like what comes on the ARRI M18, its very efficient and leaves a nice fall off. The metal houseing is robust, build quality is just what you would expect from German engineering, well thought out and easy to use. Replacing a bulb is quick and easy minimizing its down time on set. The new brake on the tilt is superb and strong. I love these lights! Make sure to get a couple extra double scrims and bulbs. 5

[0.1 lb] The cforce mini motors are the reason I went for an ARRI focus system. They're the best thing out there for gimbal work, or any operator who loves their camera builds to be as small and light as possible. I recommend adding a larger gear for when you need to speed up the motor. 5
