The ARRI WA-1 Wedge Adapter for Camera Mountingmounts on the bottom of the front foot of ALEXA, ALEXA Plus, ALEXA Plus 4:3, ALEXA XT, ALEXA XT Plus, ALEXA SXT EV, ALEXA SXT Plus, ALEXA SXT W, or ALEXA LF. [Gray] I put this on an Xt4 and run and gun with DZO Pictor 20-55. Tight fit and with PL mount; no adjustment needed for parfocal zoom. Good piece of gear. Heavy but good quality bit of kit. 5

[Gray] This is one of the better PL adapters in the market. It has a way for you to secure the mount itself to the camera body or cage, so there is absolutely no flex anywhere—the locking mount itself and the adapter to camera via the bottom plate. The flanges are also useful to get perfect infinity focus. Watch the Wooden Camera Youtube video for instructions on how to do this. 5

[0.3 lb] I’ve had bad experiences with adapters in the past. This is a very robust, well machined mount. It feels very solid on the camera. I’m using heavy cinema lenses often and I have full confidence in carrying the setup by the mount itself. Definite recommend. 5

[Gray] I have owned every VCT plate out there Shape, Zacuto, movcam, chrosziel and i've sold them all. I found them to be incredibly heavy and cumbersome. I wanted something that maintained the low height of my FS7 body when its on my shoulder. Most VCT plates sit so high on the shoulder throwing off the centre of gravity, wooden camera managed to keep the shoulder pad tight to plate eliminating this problem. It only weighs 1.3 LBS which is important when travelling with a kit. They've also ingeniously incorporated their dovetail system into the plate for easy removal of the camera. I cannot recommend this plate enough to anyone trying to keep the weight and profile down of their camera. After a few weeks of shoulder intensive shooting I can confidently say this is the best product out there. 5
