Q: 1. Has anyone used the "shiny" side for shooting large product images? Does the "shiny" side have harsh spots from the lighting? I haven't used this product in many years and I am considering it for full body apparel images for web retail. Any thoughts?

A: The matte side would yield better results as it would offer cleaner surface. The "shiny" side would produce hot spots.

Q: 2. I ordered the black/white 6x7 and really like the quality however, there are many creases and wrinkles all over the surface. The folks who are giving 5 stars...are they over looking this or do I need to get a replacement?

A: You may use a handheld fabric steamer to remove wrinkles found in the Manfrotto Collapsible Reversible Background (6 x 7', Black/White). By steaming the background and properly positioning the stand holding the reversible background, winkles should be minimized. That being stated, if you are not happy with the background, do note you have 30 days from the date of purchase to return the background for an exchange or a refund.

Q: 3. How close is this mid-grey to 18% grey?

A: It appears to be really close when visually compared to my gray card. I will say though, I've been getting a bluish / purple tint on the background in my images, which I have to remove. Doesn't matter what I light it with or what the background exposure is, and you don't see it with the naked eye. Haven't had a chance to figure that out yet.

A: I own this and it's 9 ft wide by 10 ft high.
