[Yes] I have been using RRS products for many years. I have never had any quality issue with any item from them. This clamp is no exception. Top quality fit and finish. perfect function.

[Yes] I have and array of RRS items and they are all top-quality. This is a larger clamp so it'd pair best with at least the size of the BH40 ballhead of theirs, not the smaller one. I use one on my ballhead and another is mated with the my Fanotec gear for my base when doing panoramic stitching. The bubble level is helpful. Lever Release is my personal preference. I've used my other clamp for over 10 years and it's as smooth as ever. I have no doubts about it's ability to support all the weight of my pano-stitching setup with rails, with heavy telephoto lens.

[Arca-Type] I first purchased a release clamp from another company, but the knob on my head interfered with it. So I went for this RRS clamp.

This is my first RRS purchase. I can see why everyone thinks so highly of their products. This unit with the lever is top quality with a firm lever action. You get what you pay for with RRS.

[Yes] While I have this Really Right Stuff B2-LR-II Lever-Release Clamp (60mm) installed on all my tripods, monopod, Skimmer ground pod, multiple Platypods, and even on my Lenscoat LensSack Pro Beanbag because of the instant ability to change from ball head, to gimbal head, and in between my 400mm, and 600mm lens, or from horizontal to vertical perspective with the L-brackets on my cameras for landscapes, the part of my gear kit that has frustrated the living daylights out of me was the screw knob clamp on my Jobu Design Heavy Duty Mark IV Gimbal Head. While I love the quality and functionality of the gimbal head, I can't even begin to count the times I have missed birds in flight, or wildlife action shots because I was still turning this knob while the action was already all over. My original plan was to replace the horizontal piece of the gimbal head
with the Really Right Stuff PG-CC Cradle Clamp for Gimbal Tripod Heads, however because it has been backordered for what seems like forever, I began thinking about alternatives that would provide that same functionality, and then it hit me that I could just mount a Really Right Stuff B2-LR-II Lever-Release Clamp on an ARCA plate and mount it on my gimbal head to get the same functionality. So I mounted my Really Right Stuff B2-LR-II Lever-Release Clamp on a 60mm Leofoto ARCA plate with Precision Scale to center the clamp perfectly on the plate, using a 3/8"-16 to "-20 Oben Reducer Bushing, and two "-20 Allen Head Socket Set Screws for added stability. Mission accomplished! I now have the instant functionality I desired from my gear, I won't miss anymore action, or birds in flight shots while fiddling with knobs, and my vocabulary won't be quite as colorful on my excursions. Thank you Really Right Stuff, kudos to B&H, and yes Jobu Design I still love my Heavy Duty Mark IV Gimbal Head, especially now, that I won't have to fiddle with that cursed screw knob anymore!

[Yes] I've known about RRS products for quite a while, but this is the first purchase of one of their products for me. True to their reputation, they are undeniably expensive - but for an excellent reason.
The fit and finish on this clamp is top grade. The lever mechanism is very firm, leaving no question whether it's fully latched or not. But what I really appreciate is the perfectly smooth, rounded edges and corners. It makes holding and working with it an absolute pleasure.
Could I have bought a similar clamp from a different company for much less? Of course. But I'm confident that buying from RRS means I only buy it once, and it will last longer than my camera or I will.

[Yes] This is extremely reliable and quick to change lenses, camera bodies, etc. as well as different tripod heads.
