The CAME-TV Boltzen 55W Focusable Fresnel LED Lightfrom CAME-TV Boltzen 55W Focusable Fresnel LED Lightis a chip-on-board light source with a 5600K daylight color balance and a high CRI of 96 for accurate color rendering. The fixture has spot-to-flood focusing capability to vary your coverage. The included 4-way barndoors allow you further control of the beam angle. Light intensity is controlled by a dimming knob while settings are indicated on the Boltzen Fresnel's LCD screen. The light is useable worldwide thanks to its 100-240 VAC power adapter but you can also use an optional NP-F970 or a D-tap-equipped battery when AC power is unavailable. A filter set is included to help you soften the output or convert it to tungsten balance. It all fits in the padded case with shoulder strap.

A: N970 will keep it lit for about an hour.

At 20, it would work as a soft spot for your background usage needs. You may use a standard C-47 clothespin to clip a colored filter gel onto the barndoors on the front of the CAME-TV Boltzen 55W Focusable Fresnel Daylight LED Light.

A: It does include AC adapters but not batteries. Those youll need to supply yourself. Nice little lights.

Q: 8. Is the fan on these audible when shooting interviews?

A: Based on the footage that we have seen, the fans are inaudible when shooting video.

Q: 9. I would like to hang this light 20 feet in the air. If I power them by a 120V non-dimable power source, will they turn on at the settings last used? Or will someone have to turn them on or adjust the dimmer settings. I want to put them on a light switch on the wall and have them turn on at the prescribed dimmer setting.

A: Yes, the light will remain at the last setting after powering off.

Q: 10. I bought two lights at separate times but it would be great to be able to carry them in one case. Is the hardcase available for sale?

A: Unfortunately, we do not carry hard case included in the the CAME-TV Boltzen 55W Focusable LED Fresnel 2-Light Kit as a separate accessory. [6.05 lb] So far I am loving these lights! They are bright and the color is great. I do wish they came with more of their accessories instead of having to buy them separately, but the lights themselves are solid. 5

[CRI 96] I use these lights as background, back, or fill lights - mostly for corporate talking-head stuff, but I've also used them for product videos, and some structured b-roll. While these certainly aren't the highest quality in terms of robustness and durability (mostly plastic) they are super lightweight, well made, the CRI is great, and they are really user-friendly. I HIGHLY recommend these lights if you're looking for a solid, punchy LED light on a budget. 5

[CRI 96] I gave this 5 stars based on the light itself. It would be tough using these as a key light. They are bright but with diffusion such as a soft box you lose about 1.5 stops. Without diffusion they are definitely bright enough but it's a hard light. The focusable Fresnel ability works well however there isn't that defined edge you might think. If you use the Tungsten gel you will lose a stop as well. I use these as hair, fill, background lights and they are fantastic for those purposes. The case is a nice touch and make the lights very mobile. I don't use the battery function as I use them in a studio setting. For video they are a great addition to any studio. The lights fit in the case with U-brackets attached. You can purchase a Bowens mount adapter for the lights but I'm not sure the build quality will support the weight for long periods of time. I have the 60 watt version with Bowens mount and it's a load when using a 36" Octobox. If you were to use these for a mobile light set I'm sure you would be happy. They are light and while I'm not sure the build quality is there for attaching modifiers, alone they seem rugged enough to last a long time. If you remove the Fresnel lens the beam pattern widens considerably. It would take two lights to evenly light a large backdrop but for accent lights with gels they are fine. 5
