You don't have to worry about water temperature. I usually filter my water. This bottle NH5 makes about 3 gal of fixer stock solution. You use stock solution 1:1 for your tray. For example, mix 1 quart of stock solution with 1 quart of water, and use this in your tray to fix the prints.
