[1x AA] I much prefer the tail button and tail twist controls on this SureFire EDCL2-T flashlight to the controls on of so many other brands of flashlights. I also like using ShureFire A123 batteries instead of rechargeable batteries. This flashlight is worth the price. It's rugged and dependable. It's easy to use. No fussing. It just works.

[0.32 lb] I work nights, and have a variety of pocketable flashlights, the current photo doesn't show the new Tactician tail cap which is perfect as the beam pattern. Very mild crenellations that won't eat your pockets. I've been using SureFIre rechargeables without a loss in performance. B&H ships fast and has great prices.

[0.32 lb] Super bright and good flood. Love the size.. Even though it's a little larger than most EDC lights, it fits in my pants pocket easily without taking up a lot of room.

[0.32 lb] FINALLY. typical surefire bombproof construction. Excellent knurling on the aluminum body. More than adequate run time for one CR123 battery. Pocket friendly size. Plenty of brightness. Beam is focused but still has enough spill around the hot spot to light up anything you need to see. Hands down my favorite EDC light!

I recently purchased the Surefire Tactician, but I just wasn't a fan of the pocket clip/bezel up setup. I was surprised at the light on the EDCL1-T: the 5 lumens seems much brighter than the specs would lead you to believe. I compared the 800 lumen tactician and the 500 lumen EDCL1-T and honestly couldn't tell much of a difference. The tighter beam pattern of the TIR lens makes the 500 lumens seem a tad bit brighter than the floody beam pattern of the 800 lumen maxvision beam of the tactician. LOVE the gas pedal switch... was worried we'd never see that again... THANK YOU Surefire for listening to your customers and bringing that back!

If you're on the fence about this light... BUY ONE! As always, excellent customer service from B&H Photo!

[1x AA] The Pelican 2350 flashlight is well-made and has a relatively long run time for a single AA battery powered flashlight. It has high, low, and flash modes, and four choices of mode sequence (with each push of the on/off switch). The high and low levels are great for general use, but the high is not bright enough to use as a tactical light, and changing the order the modes appear takes time.
