Trijicon AccuPoint 2.5-10x56 Riflescopeproduces battle-proven aiming systems that deliver rapid target acquisition and increased hit potential under any lighting conditions. Their self-luminous aiming systems empower you to execute any shot with complete confidence in bright light, low light or no light at all.

Some hunters need to take the time-tested performance of the venerable 3-9x40 up a notch or two, so Trijicon proudly presents the impressive Trijicon AccuPoint 2.5-10x56 RiflescopeWith this scope you'll realize a significant improvement in twilight performance with a moderately improved range of magnification - the stout 30mm main-tube provides a notable increase in stability and durability. The reticle is illuminated via Trijicon's proprietary tritium/fiber optic technology to ensure your ability to establish your point of aim under all conditions.

To use a riflescope with your firearm, you'll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. Bases attach to your firearm and rings attach to your scope. Proper spacing of the rings, as well as the ring height should be considered to ensure a proper line of sight can be established. This will maximize the value of your investment, and enhance your shooting experience. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation.

Proprietary battery-free technology provides a vivid aiming point without the need for failure-prone batteries

The Mil-Dot reticle enables long range distance calculations. A series of dots upon the cross hairs gives the shooter the ability to judge bullet drop and the proper hold over for accurate long range shot placement.
Trijicon's proprietary tritium/fiber-optic illumination technology places a brilliant amber dot at the intersection of the stadia.
This scope has the reticle positioned in the rear or second focal plane so it will not magnify when the scope is zoomed to high power. This leaves the sight picture unobstructed for a clear view at all times. The scope must be set to 10x magnification to use the Mil-Dot system

[56 mm] If you are looking for a long range riflescope, this is a winner. It is the newer model of the 5-20x50 Accupoint line. This comes with everything that you need (Scope, high quality ocular and objective flip up caps, a sunshade and a neophrene cover). The elevation and windage is very easy to set, as is the parallax (which has yardage indicators). The glass is extremely clear, even better than the top of the line Nikon riflescopes that I own (and will never sell). This riflescope is a keeper, and will be passed down to my children. I purchased this on sale which for me was an extra incentive for me. I also looked at the Zeiss Conquest V4, but I did not like that the parallax turret only had two numbered yardage indicators (50 yards and Infinity). The yardage between 50 and Infinity is indicated by rectangular outlines, so you have to guess at what yardage your target is located. The windage and elevation turrets were also somewhat difficult to adjust.

[56 mm] I have two amber triangles that I'm very fond of wanted to try the green. It's probably better than amber in my opinion very bright and clear. Bh photo had the absolute best price, smoking deal.

[56 mm] Make no mistake. This scope is a big 56mm and a bit heavy but the payoff is a huge, bright view. I mostly hunt hog and coyote during twilight and night. I'd say this is probably not the scope you want if you can only hunt during the day but if you can legally hunt at night this scope is a significant improvement over a 40mm or even a 50mm scope. It's not gen 3 night vision but if there is some moon or sky glow it's quite effective. This illuminated reticle is understated and very effective at precise shooting or longer ranges. During the day with a light background you don't really notice that it's illuminated but against a dark target the glowing dot marks the center of your cross hairs. As the light fades the fiber optic automatically adjusts the dot's brightness so well that I don't understand why they made it adjustable. At night the dot gently glows bright enough to be clearly visible but not enough to hurt your night vision. I am still amazed that the illumination works so perfectly without adjustment, no on/off and no batteries. There is noticeable chromatic aberration around the perimeter but the image is sharp in the center and it is very noticeably brighter than my 40mm and 50mm Nikon Buckmasters and 50mm Redfield scopes.

[2.5 to 10x] This scope is as advertised, excellent quality. Great price for latest technology. Paid a lot more some years ago for a Kahles, but the AccuPoint is a great advance in optical sights and is my new favorite.

[2.5 to 10x] Light weight with super bright and clear optics. Illuminated triangle on post reticle very easy to use. Being able to keep both eyes open a big plus, increasing comfort, not to mention awareness of surroundings. Fiber optics work great, triangle well lit in a wide range of lighting conditions.

[2.5 to 10x] I put the accupoint on a Sako 338 Fed for woods hunting. Nice bright, clear glass. Center-dot lit reticle is perfect for getting low light fast shots off. Mildots make long range shooting possible and accurate. Over-all great scope.
