[Daylight] I needed a key light that wasn't a ring light and this is PERFECT! Semi-budget friendly, great quality product. I've had in for YEARS and over performs for my needs. The *only thing to note* is that the fan *does* hum noticeably so if you use this with video, know you'll have to edit that out in post but honestly, I don't even care. This panel is SO worth it. Also, I haven't traveled with it but it is about as small as a tablet/laptop so super portable! Love it! :)

[3.83 lb] Filming talking head interviews I needed a fill light and a kicker or supplemental background light and these are working great for this. Not using as a key.

I could combine the two to create one larger light source but haven't had the need yet.

Godox's bluetooth control works like a charm with the app.

Happy with the lights for the money, great quality.

[50,000 Hours] I just started swapping over to continuous lighting for my headshot studio work. I now have 2 plugin LED lights. An 80W from another vendor and now this 100W unit. I'm impressed how much brighter this Godox 100W is versus the 80W from GVM. Since it does not have a battery option, it's only really good for studio use.

[Daylight] This Godox SL100D produces a high-quality illumination, and is light and relatively small, and very easy to use.

Just take it out of the box, attach to a standard light stand, plug in the wonderfully long standard AC cord, flip the on/off switch and adjust the simple brightness dial (to anywhere between 100% and 1%). (Note that there is no remote control like some of the more expensive Godox lights.)

The light itself is suitably bright, just about perfect for a one or two person photo shoot, especially if you are using 3-4 of these to illuminate a body from front left, front right, plus the background, and maybe another as hair light. Even just a couple of these, used with reflectors, would work in many cases.

The SL100D is probably overkill as a hair light, but not bright enough to evenly illuminate the background of a large room, depending of course on how bright you want the background.

Overall, so far, I couldn't be happier. I now have three of these.

[72 W ] Not sure what I expected, but this thing is bright! Well worth the money it is lightweight with a decent build quality. It's easy to use right out of the box and I am already considering buying a second.

[72 W ] I purchased a set of 2 of these lights for my film studio, as I was needing more constant light options for a video project. They did not disappoint, they are very powerful and the dimmer adjustment works very smoothly. They are pretty quiet & I haven't had to deal with any loud fan sounds in post. The bowens mount is nice because I do use a lot of different modifiers on the light as well.
The only con is perhaps they're a little on the heavy side when tilting in different directions. But that doesn't really bother me much. Definitely worth the money & would purchase more from GVM.

[Daylight] I ordered two of these and they are very bright. The fans inside are very quiet and I haven't had any issues with hearing them through my microphone

[5500K] I bought this for the wide beam angle, and yes, it does have a wide beam angle. It take 2 batteries to operate all the LEDs and with 2 batteries, at full output, it is pretty bright. It is easy to dial down the output. No complaints.

[8] You can't beat this LED lighting panel for the price -it's bright, has decent color quality, and has excellent control options. Build quality is adequate if you're an owner who's careful with his/her personal gear, but it's not rugged enough to survive heavy use by careless film students or commercial renters. Its main shortcoming is its fan which cycles on & off to prevent overheating, which is clearly audible in a quiet room. This can be fixed by replacing the fan which costs $14 on Amazon & takes 30 mins.- full DIY instructions are on YouTube; just search for Yongnuo Hack Loud Fan Fix.

[Daylight] This is the best video light I seen so far. It's actually consumes 98 watts of power. You'll need to buy the power cable separately. Solid build and the fan is very quiet which help keep the leds cool. High power led do make some heat when over 12 volts of power.
