Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would this size be appropriate for the Nikkor 70-200 with caps and hood reversed?

A: No the Large Wide Lens Coat Lens Pouch would not be suitable for theNikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR Lens. However, the LensCoat LensPouch (Extra-Large, Black) BH #LELCLPXLB can work. https://bhpho.to/3wVKHOS

Q: 2. Will this bag fit a Fujinon MK50-135mm T2.9 Lens (Sony E-Mount) that is 8.12 in length?

A: No, the bag needs to be at least 1 1/2 inches longer than the lens to draw close nicely.

Q: 3. Will it work with a Nikon D90 and a 150-500 lens?

A: Yes, the LensCoat RainCoat Standard will be compatible with the Nikon D90 and 150-500mm Sigma lens.

Q: 4. I purchased a Rolanpro product similar to this one and it was too big for my Sigma 150-600 Sport lens. That is why I'm interested in the small size. The velcro strips didn't align with the end of the material and left too much flapping. Will this fit my lens adequately and have sufficient fastening material to keep the final end of the wrap tight?

A: According to LensCoat, they recommend the travel hood zoom for your lens. Click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/31VVYQQ

Q: 5. What size is appropriate for the CAMBO CBH-6 ballhead?

A: The Cambo CBH-6 Ball Head with Quick Release Plate would fit in the LensCoat LensPouch (Small, Black), BH #LELCLPSMBK (https://bhpho.to/3UkTnrf).

Q: 6. What is the length on each pad?

A: The length of each pad on the LensCoat LegCushion (Black) is 24".

Q: 7. Will the large fit the Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 SP Di VC USD? Physical size of lens is 3.39 x 7.76 inches. Not sure if the 4x8 nature of this case allows for the cinching of the bag.

A: You would best be advised to buy the X-large instead. I have the large unit and I keep a Canon EF 75-300 mm telephoto lens in it. My lens is about 6.75 inches in length, and I have about 1.5 inch left at the top to pull the closure completely closed. Your Tamron lens would be a VERY tight fit; and possibly not have extra room for complete closure. It is possible that if you buy the X-Large unit; you may even have enough height to store the Tamron lens with a lens hood (if you use one) installed. The Canon lens I have stored in my Large bag does not have enough height to allow me to keep the lens hood on it while in the Large bag. I hope this helps you.

Q: 8. Will this fit Nikon z 24-120?

A: Yes, the LensCoat LensPouch (Small Wide, Black) can fit the Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S Lens (Nikon Z).

Q: 9. The description says it Included with the product is a removable front element protection disc for lenses. I am thinking the front element protection disc is to be left in to help protect the lens. I'm not clear as to why removing the disc is beneficial. It's listed as a feature that it is removable, but I can't figure why that is a benefit. Can someone explain?

A: Having the removable front element protection disc is beneficial in the event that it needed to be replaced at some point.

Q: 10. Will this fit the Canon EF 24-70mm 1:4 L ?

A: LensCoat LensPouch (Small Wide, Black) BH #LELCLPSMWBK will fit Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens BH #CA247028LII.

[Empty] Just right size to hold my Nikon 2x TC.

[Empty] I had been looking for a pouch or case to carry my Tokina 12-24 f/4 with the lens hood attached (reversed) and found all the pouches I tried were not designed to accommodate the width of a lens with the hood attached. My lens would fit in the neoprene pouches I tried, but it also required a fair amount of stretching of the pouch making it difficult to get the lens in/out. Finally, this small wide version from LenCoat fits the bill perfectly!

[Yes] Tried several. But this one is the best I've found.

[Empty] I have a pouch in a pouch method of packing and carrying lenses on the road and in the field.

I have a few small lenses that do not fit well in some pouches I have. I use this for filling out empty space left in the pouch I use when traveling. I also use it as a pocket pouch when I'm shooting. Both uses work well for the way I pack and carry.

[0.39 lb] I own several of these pouches, different sizes. I use to store lenses, battery charger and other items in a large case. Well made in the USA!

[Empty] I've never had damage when my lens is wrapped in one of these, they can take a lot of abuse. The color can indicate what lens is enclosed, it's nice to have color and it's easier to see in a bag or pack than a black colored pouch.

[Drawstring] Awesome pouch to fit an smaller lens or in my case, an FTZ adapter, which is an expensive piece of gear, so I wanted to protect it. Very convenient size for an item like that, or a set of extension tubes, or a small lens. I will probably get another one, it's so cute.

[Drawstring] Purchased to keep my 50mm L f/1.2 safe and sound while traveling. Works perfect.

I prefer to use pouches and my daily bag as opposed to a dedicated camera bag. These Lenscoat pouches have always been my go to. Well made and great prices
