Q: 1. Will the x-large hoodie fit the Nikon 200-500 with the lens hood reversed on the end of the lens?

A: Hi, this hoodie is a little too big for the Nikon 200-500mm lens; the Large would be the right size: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/508911-REG/LensCoat_LCHLBK_Large_Hoodie_Lens_Hood.html

Q: 3. What size i need for Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR for a 72mm lens cover ?

Q: 4. Does anyone use these lens coats on Canon lens'? I have a 24-70 Id like one for but want it to fit snuggly or a 70-200

A: Yes, trick of the trade if you apply to your lens and warm with blow dryer. They shrink just a lil for that perfect fit.

Q: 5. Will this fit over the plastic lens hood of the Canon ef 100-400mm lens? Fit snugly and not fall off?

A: Lenscoat would suggest the LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood Cover (Large, Black), BH # LELCHLBK. https://bhpho.to/3yDNEnM

Q: 6. What size fits for Sony 300mm f2.8 lens?

A: The LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood Cover (X-Large, Black) is the correct size to cover the Sony FE 300mm f/2.8 GM OSS Lens (Sony E), BH #SO30028GM.

Q: 7. will the lenscoat help with preventing lenses fogging up on cold nights? if not, what can you suggest

A: No, LensCoats do not seal the lens and prevent it from fogging up. Weather-sealed lenses will be the most protected from fog and moisture getting into lenses. But regardless of whether a lens has weather-sealing, taking proper precautions like slowly acclimating your equipment to the environment would do more to prevent sudden fogging than anything else. Take a while to move your bag from somewhere warm or wet, to somewhere cool or dry, so that the sudden shock does not develop fog or moisture inside the lens from the sudden change in temperature or humidity.

Q: 8. What size for Sony 100 - 400mm lens?

Q: 9. What size best fits a sigma 120-300 f2.8 sport Len's hood ?

A: Having been burned by the size chart on the mfg web site, I purchased an X-Large to fit over the hood of my 120-300 f/2.8. The web site says large but that won't fit on the hood only the actual lens. Yes I now own 2 of these.Lens only == largeLens hood == X-Large

Q: 10. Does this fit the 400 2.8 ii non is?Can't find the difference in specs between the i and ii

A: I contacted LensCoat with your inquiry. Unfortunately, they do not have a LensCoat designed for the Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L II USM (non-IS) lens released in 1996. Due to the small design differences between the lenses, none of the current LensCoat options would be compatible for use with the Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L II USM lens you own. LensCoat states that if you contact them directly and if they can find a copy of the Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L II USM lens, they may be able to make a custom LensCoat for $195.00. I hope that helps.

[Neoprene rubber] I was skeptical about using these....but it worked out great. Shooting in colder conditions and keeping everything from getting beat up. I have them for each lens now.

[Neoprene rubber] I use LensCoat covers with all my lenses, especially long ones. It fits well to the lens, does not move and the reason why I use it is to protect the lens from scratches. So the lens always looks as brand new, and if you ever want to sell your lens in the future, it gives extra value compared to worn out lenses. It is really a great protection. The plastic, transparent window which covers some commands such as MF, AF or distance sometimes makes it difficult to use these commands but this does not decrease the utility of this cover.

[Neoprene rubber] After I bought my new lens, I really needed this, seeing how hard photographing wildlife can be on your equipment. This cover went on easily, and does a great job protecting my lens. Once I figured out how to get the holes lined up exactly, I have no problems switching to manual focus, or turning the Image Stabilizer on or off.

[Neoprene rubber] Couldn't ask for a better lens. Very sharp images and focuses fast. If you like the option that a zoom lenses gives then this is the lens for you. It is just like the 70-200 2.8 lens but only at a shorter distance. Would recommend this lens for everyone, at every level of photography.
