Clear, flexible PVC windows allow you to easily view your lens's AF and IS controls and distance scale. A small opening lines up with the camera's mount indicator to make quick, easy work of aligning your lens with the mount. Q: 1. What size hood is needed for a Sigma 150-600 Contemporary Lens?

A: I have a canon Lens Cap E 145 for my 400 mm DO and it gives good coverage. Not sure though it would fit your 600mm.Karen

Q: 2. Will this product fit the nikor 24mm f/1.4 lens with it's hood reversed?

A: I bought this for the 50mm Nikon lens to fit over the lens shade for protection and quick on and off capability. The product was protective but fit so snugly over the shade that it was slow to remove and re-attach.

Q: 3. You hoods look great and seem thinners than other ones I have seen. what is the best hood for the following lens: 1. Tamron SP70-200 77mm w/ hood attached. 2. Sony 16-50 72MM SSM w/hood attached?

A: I dont use Tamron lenses. I use only Nikon pro lenses, and the hoods that come with them. I think the best hood for any lens is the one made by the manufacturer. Its not the thickness but the shape that matters. Hoods become a pain to keep matched with lenses when they're all in my bag together, so I mark the focal length on the hood somewhere. Just write it on a small piece of paper and stick it on the hood. Hoods are a bit bothersome to use, esp. on a long lens, but its important to always use them to prevent extra light from sneaking in and ruining the exposure. I know you didnt ask this, but the best lens by far Ive ever used is Nikon 24-70mm. Stunningly sharp. It is expensive. If you want professional results, use professional gear.

Q: 4. What size is needed to fit over the stock plastic lens hood for a Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS II?

A: No it does not, fall right off

Q: 5. What size for Sony 20 - 70mm F4 lens?

A: The Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 24-70mm f/4 ZA OSS Lens diameter is 2.87". So, the LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood Cover (X-Small, Black), BH #LELCHXSBK, is the correct size.

Q: 6. What size LensCoat Lens Hoodie would you recommend for the SAMYANG 8/3.5HD FISHEYE LENS W/HOOD? The diameter of the hood is 2.75 inches so this is right on the size boundary.

A: I have both an extra small and a small Len Coat Hoodie. I can put them both over a lens with 3 diameter lens shades however the small size is a bit easier to fit, particularly if the lens shade is deeper.Lens Coat's does not appear to indicate the hood size of their hoodie's. In my opinion it would also be better if they provided pull taps on the hoodie to help pull these hoodies over the end of the lens. I use them on lens that I like to keep the lens hood/shade attached to the lens.

Q: 7. sigma 180mm 2.8 macro lens coat inciluded two lens hood (available) ?

A: SIgma 180 2.8 os has one lens hood only (not like the Sigma 150 2.8 OS that has 2 lens hoods depend if you use with a full frame or with a 1.6x sensor)The Lenscoat cover exactly ALL the lens and hood. If you get the hood adapter, the coat is not included

[9 x 9 x 0.1"] I'm always losing lens caps and I find them tedious to remove during sudden and unexpected photo opportunities. A lens hoodie helps me to protect my lens and it's easy to remove quickly. What's not to like?

[9 x 9 x 0.1"] Easy to put on and take off, and just stuff in my pocket. I use this over the LEE Filters SW150 Mark II Lens Adapter for Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED Lens and it fits just fine.

[0.3 lb] Helps enormously in camouflaging my 600mm lens when setting up to photograph wildlife. Instead of a 95mm glass front, you can let the critters get used to the camo pattern before shooting.

[0.3 lb] I added this to my purchase of a lens coat. Nice to have a way to protect the class without unscrewing the hood and putting on the lens cap when I put the camera down or pick up another one.

[0.3 lb] I bought this for my Nikon 500mm f5.6 to use right over the lens. The lens hood (reversed) fists over it. This makes it more versatile than the plastic lens cap that came with the lens.

[0.3 lb] These are your best option for old, large lenses that are no longer manufactured or for which rigid lens caps cannot be located. They grip the barrel tightly (if you pick the right size) and provide protection without any additional weight.

[0.3 lb] I bought this hoodie to place over my Sigma 50-500 lens with its large hood. It provides great extra protection from bumps and dings which are unavoidable when carrying around such a large lens.

[9 x 9 x 0.1"] It's a great soft protector for lenses since it fits right over the lens hood and takes the place of the lens cap. This item is particularly useful if you have a lens filter that won't allow the cap to stay on. Just be sure to get the medium size hoodie for the Nikon 16-35mm lens and not the large size hoodie B&H recommends. Otherwise, you'll have the hoodie falling off the lens each time you remove your camera from your camera bag.

[0.3 lb] The multi-faceted capabilities of this prime make it an important lens in my kit. From macro to portrait, this lens can do a lot of heavy lifting. Highly recommend this for any Nikon Z owner.
