A: Yes this would fit your hood.

Q: 2. I'm seeing two conflicting answers below, regarding the XL being the right size for the Nikon 200-500. Is the L or the XL the better fit for the Nikon 200-500?

A: According to Lenscoat's website, they recommend the XL hoodie.

Q: 3. What size would you recommend this for the Nikkor 85mm f/1.8g?

A: I would recommend something along the lines of this: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/919752-REG/op_tech_usa_7801062_3_5_x_4_5_fold_over.html This would fit the lens with a bit of extra room to provide some extra padding.

Q: 4. Would this hoodie fit over the Nikon 80-200MM lens hood?

A: No, you would need the LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood Cover (Medium, Black), BH # LELCHMBK to fit the lens hood of your Nikon AF 80-200mm f/2.8D lens. https://bhpho.to/3ct3QNE

Q: 5. What size i need for a Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Lens with 67mm lens cover ?

A: You will need the Lenscoat Medium, click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/38NTy8f

Q: 8. Does it work with the Tokina SD 16-28mm 2.8?

A: I purchased this hood for the same lens. It makes a snug fit, and the end is fairly solid, so it should not contact the glass. However, it does remove the snap-on lens cover I was using as a replacement for the original Tokina lens cover.

Q: 9. What size for Sony 100 - 400mm lens?

A: For the Sony 100-400 lens hood you would need the LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood Cover (Large, Black). https://bit.ly/42zYTMd

Q: 10. Size for canon 35-70?

A: Hello IraThe two Lenscoat medium Hoodies I bought were to replace the original plastic lens covers provided by Canon. It was taking too much time to remove and replace these plastic covers in the field so I now use Lenscoat hoods for all my lenses from 600mm down to 17-40mm.The medium hoods are for my 300mm f4 and 400mm f5.6 lenses that have a 77mm diameter. (They take 77mm filters) These hoods provide a loose fitting which is fine for me. You should check your lens diameter and make your choice on that. Based on my findings for a lens with 72mm or smaller diameter I use a smaller size than medium. The hoods are of high quality and provide extra benefit in that they don't get lost as easily as the plastic covers. I wholeheartedly recommend them.RegardsTerry

[Neoprene] Fits Over The Canon 8-15mm Fisheye Lens Perfectly!

[0.05 lb] I now have one on all my lenses. I leave on the lens hood and use this cover to protect the lens. The extra protection on the front and sides of the lens is really good.

If you have the bad habit (like me) of standing you camera up vertically it really seems to help!

I put the plastic lens cap into the slot on the top of the lens hood so I don't loose it!

[0.05 lb] I have a Leica Q that I put a Leica UV filter on. It seems that the lens cap won't go on well over the filter, and in any case it's nice to have the lens hood in place more-or-less permanently. The X-small Hoodie works perfectly: I can slip it over the lens with one hand, and it stays on sufficiently well that I can put/take out the whole camera/lens hood/hoodie assembly in my camera bag. I'll likely think about getting hoodies for other lens/lens hood combinations.

[0.05 lb] I have the Voigtländer LH-10 lens for my Voigtländer 50/1.2 VM Nokton ASPH. It's not a small hood but does the job well. This lensCoat Hoodie fits nicely. I don't need to squeeze inside it to attach my lens cap. We all know they can fall off, especially if we're sloppy putting it on or maybe bump the lens hood on something. With the Hoodie, I not only protect the the lens but the expensive LH-10 lens hood as well.

[0.05 lb] These lens hoodies are easy to put on and take off and otherwise, stay on the lens and don't fall off like my lens caps were doing. I ordered a few of these and would definitely recommend.
