Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Wil this pouch accommodate a Canon 24-70?

A: Yes, this pouch will fit a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.

Q: 2. Will this fit a Fuji X-T1 with 35mm f2 lens?

A: This will not fit a Fuji X-T1.

Q: 3. Would this fit Sigma 15-600mm Contemporary with Hood reversed and tripod collar with arca-swiss plate mounted to it?

A: No, the LensCoat LensPouch (Extra-Large Wide, Black) is too small for the Sigma 15-600mm Contemporary with Hood reversed and tripod collar with arca-swiss plate mounted to it.

Q: 4. Will this fit a Nikon D810 with a Nikon AF NIKKOR 24-85mm f/2.8-4D IF Lens ?

A: Yes, this pouch will fit the Nikon D810 and 24-85mm lens.

Q: 5. Bought lenscoat bodybag. It has bad chemical odor .Will this Chemical odor fade away after some time or remains forever? Problem is that the chemical odor spreads to Camera and we can smell the odor while using the Camera. Thanks.

A: I don't recall an odor, but I checked mine now and it doesn't smell.

Q: 6. Do these neoprene pouches provide enough safety for lenses after removing the partitions from a camera bag?

A: They seem to be adequate to the task. I bought them for when I am traveling light and carrying the lenses in my pocket.

Q: 7. Will this case fit my Sony FX30 camera with 10-20mm f/4 lens?

A: No, the LensCoat BodyBag 4/3 (Blue) would not be a good fit for the Sony FX30. We recommend the following model for the FX3 or FX30: LensCoat BodyBag M for Sony Alpha a7 III, a7R III, a7R IV, a9, a9II (Blue) BH #LELCBBMBL https://bhpho.to/3Kks5Q9

Q: 8. Is the bag height dimension the actual BAG height, or the maximum height of the lens it can be used with and still close (since it gets about 1 shorter when string is pulled)? I don't want to get one that is too far oversized for Tamron B008N (approx 5 high x 3.25 diameter).

A: These bags are giving the actual dimension of the bag, i.e. if you could lay it flat and measure the material from top to bottom (string NOT drawn). Thus, you are correct, you will lose some height when it is cinched.

Q: 9. Will this pouch accommodate a Canon 70-200?

A: Yes it will fit allowing the draw string to fully close, but will not accommodate the lens hood reverse mounted to the lens.

Q: 10. can this fit a Tamron 150-600mm vc with hood (reversed)?

A: No I don't believe it will, I purchased this case for the Tamron 70-200, which it does fit but is pretty tight. The case measures 11 inches tall, but when you pull the draw string to close the case the useful part of the case is between 8.5 to 9 inches.I have a Tamron 150-600 on back order and will be ordering the LowePro Lens Case 13x32cm for it

[12.5 x 8.5 x 4"] Needed a protective sack for my zoom lens and this is just perfect. Has a nice padded base and thick sides. Works well. Even has a clip to attach it to my belt.

[Empty] I prefer the drawstring to the zipper version of other brands. The leather patch that reenforces the place where the drawstrings meet the bag is a nice touch. Sizing is accurate. Holds my 80-200 2.8 with hood reversed (3.7 dia. x 7.7) closes tight but with no room to spare. Also fits my 500 Mirror lens (4 dia. x 6)

[Empty] Whether you carry your lenses separately, as I do in my large backpack, or just need protection for stored lenses, this is the case to have. Double protection on the bottom where the front of your lens rests with a piece of foam inside the lining. Weather protected outer shell, easy drawstring allows for wide opening on top. Measure you lens and then read the dimensions for the case and you are all set.

[Empty] I have a Kata Dr-465i bag that I use with my Canon EOS 60D and three lenses (1 on camera and 2 in storage spots). I love the Kata bag -- it's a great size for field use, and for transport like when I go to on vacation or to the relatives for holidays. But once I acquired the 60mm lens, it would simply not fit in the bag in the camera storage area. Generally this is not an issue, since the 60mm is a lens I use indoors when I prefer not to use the other lens (zooms). And I did not want to go to a larger size bag. So for storage I found the LensPouch was a perfect fit to allow me to keep the 60mm lens in the top section of the bag with some protection.

[Carabiner] I'm glad I bought this lens pouch for my telescope lens. It's thick with a fairly cushion bottom and the hook on it is pretty nifty too.
