The black, 3.1" tubular ARRI Handgrip Extension 3.1 Inchfits between an ARRI Master Grip or handgrip, and your camera or rig base. Use the extension to position the grip comfortably based on your rig configuration. This rosette-based extension is constructed from stainless steel, and is the shortest length of three available versions.

The Handgrip Extension's notched rosette design ensures a stable fit, fastening with an integrated, winged screw.

Q: 2. Will this work for both left and right sides?

A: The ARRI Handgrip without On/Off Switch is reversible and could work as left and right handle.

Q: 3. Can you mount this to any 3/8-16 mounting point like the Arri SR3 IVS top handle that has two 3/8-16 mounting points?

A: Yes, the ARRI Handle Extension HEX-3 (B&H# ARHEX3) would attach to the top handle of the Arriflex SR3 Advanced w/ IVS Color Video Assist.

Q: 4. Are the locating pins retractable or fixed? Looking to mount the Zhiyun quick connectors on this handle if possible. Thanks

A: Unfortunately the locating pins are fixed.

Q: 5. We could not get these to attach rosettes on Sachtler or Benro heads, only to Manfrotto. So if Sachtler & Benro have different rosettes than "Arri Standard," is there a way to adapt those rosettes so we can attach Nucleus-M handgrips to Sachtler aktiv8 & Benro S8 heads?

A: unfortunately not at this time.

Q: 6. how long is it? the specs have the box size.

A: 7-3/4 inches long, if you follow the shift in angles on the rosettes that kick the arm out a little.

Q: 7. how long is the 3pin cable? It looks pretty short from the picture. Are we supposed to use an extension cable?

A: The 3-pin cable on the ARRI Handgrip with On/Off Switch RS 3-Pin is 3" long.

Q: 8. Are these compatible with the tilta UH-T04?

A: Yes, they both use the standard ARRI rosette mount.

Q: 9. Is the screw on the rosette a standard M6?

A: Yes, it is a standard M6.

Q: 10. Will this mount directly to an Arri dovetail?

A: The ARRI Base Plate for VENICE Extension Unit is designed to mount on to the ARRI BPA-5 Bridge Plate Adapter or the ARRI BSA-1 Broadcast Shoulder Adapter.

[4.9 oz / 138 g] Over the past three years the foam has slipped down the grip shaft. No big deal but it doesn't look new. I also love that I can remove the start/stop button and tape it to tripod pan/tilt arms when not handheld. 5

[Stainless steel] This adapter works with both the left and right handgrips. You need a 5mm hex wrench to secure it to the handgrip. Well made and feels very secure. 5

[Stainless steel] After a couple of live chats trying to figure out which wooden handle would best work for my FX3 with the Tilta v2 cage we finally settled on this right-sided model (with additional mount by Camvate https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1600683-REG/camvate_c2572_m6_thread_arri_style_rosette.html . All told It's quite a bit more expensive than the previously ordered (and returned) first Small rig handle which did not fit the Tilta Cage due to the proprietary holes not lining up. The Camvate mount accommodates a range of holes. It's a sturdy and good looking piece of kit and the rosette mount can be angle-adjusted. Still, it's $120 just for a handle but I do love the way it looks. 5
