The white Countryman B6 Omni Lavalier Mic for Lectrosonics Transmittersfrom Countryman B6 Omni Lavalier Mic for Lectrosonics Transmittersis a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter with changeable protective caps, which provide moisture resistance and color options. The mic can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, churches, and general lavalier applications.

Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in hair or on costumes, or taped to a performer's face. The aramid cable and ultra-thin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's cable terminates to a 3-pin LEMO connector for direct connection to a Lectrosonics SSM wireless bodypack transmitter.

Additionally, swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or match other microphones. The B6 microphone is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. These caps can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps, and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Standard, for most uses.

Q: 1. Will this headset stay on with dancing?

A: This type of earset is not ideal for use while dancing. A headset would be recommended:The light beige H6 Directional Microphone Headset with an SN Connector for Sony Wireless Transmitters from Countryman (B&H # COH6DW7LSN) features an E6D capsule and a lightweight, 0.23 ounce dual ear-loop head frame headset. The H6 has an adjustable boom arm to allow for placement of the mic close to your mouth. Q: 2. Will this Countryman E6 with 3.5mm locking connector work with any wireless transmitter that has a 3.5mm (1/8") input? For example, will it work with the Rodelink Filmmaker Wireless transmitters?

A: The locking 3.5mm connector on this Countryman mic is wired for Sennheiser, but it will work with the Rode Filmmaker transmitters. Sony wires their 3.5mm mics differently, so this will not work with Sony transmitters. Countryman has many version of their mic models to cover most manufacturer's wiring and technical specifications.

Q: 3. Will this work with any xlr mic input that provides 48v phantom power? eg Motu M2 ?

A: No, this microphone will not connect to a common XLR input, and it does not operate on 48v Phantom. We do offer a similar microphone that does come with a 48v phantom adapter (it is not going to pass full 48v to the mic, rather it reduces to the nominal voltage). It actually has better frequency response than the UTm-86. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/898932-REG/senal_cl6_3_5n_p_cl6_omni_lavalier_mic.html

Q: 4. Is this version compatible with my Sennheiser ew 100 g3?

A: Yes, the Senal UTM-86-35H Lavalier Mic with 3.5mm Connector for Sennheiser & Senal Wireless Transmitters is compatible with the Sennheiser ew 100 ENG G3 Wireless Microphone.

Q: 5. What does Non-Locking SET+ Connector mean?

A: It is essentially a mini 1/8 (3.5mm) male TRS connector (mono).

Q: 6. Will this Tram TR50 work with Sennheiser EW100 G3 system?

A: Yes, just make sure you have the right Sennheisser 3.5mm connector. I have bought 3 of these sor the g3's . They're a huge improvement over the sennheiser G3 Lav. They don't break as easy and they are pretty affordable to some of the alternatives. They are easily hidden and don't make quite the handling noise the originals do either. I use these as a back up for my MKH50 and occasionally have a hard time descending which is the better mic to use in edit.

Q: 7. Will this work with a Sony PCM-M10 or Olympus LS-14? Thank you!

A: Hello. It doesn't appear that either recorder has an XLR jack, only 3.5mm (or 1/8 ). Technically you could use the TRAM mic, but it would require an XLR female to 3.5mm male adapter to convert the TRAM's XLR male plug to 3.5mm. Make sense?

Q: 8. Will the connector twist and lock securely to a Tascam DR-10L?

A: Yes, the Senal UTM-86-35H Lavalier Mic with 3.5mm Connector for Sennheiser & Senal Wireless Transmitters is compatible for use with and will lock securely onto the 3.5mm input connection on the Tascam DR-10L Micro Portable Audio Recorder.

Q: 9. Does it interfere with the DJI Wireless Mic like the Rode Lavalier Go?

A: The Senal UTM-86-35H Lavalier Mic would not be recommended for use with the DJI Mic because of its locking connector, which has been known to block connection with the DJI Mic's transmitter units.

Q: 10. Are the mic cords long enough for a side-by-side interview (with a Digital Audio Recorder hidden behind personalities)? Or do you recommend use with a wireless transmitter? Thanks!

A: Probably. Mine is about eight feet long with an XLR connection that I plug into the camera. It's easy to hide. I just add a length of XLR cable when I need to be farther back with the camera. If you're going to a separate audio recorder it should be no problem.
