Offering a way to increase the utility of your umbrella while rendering a soft, flattering quality of light, this Elinchrom Translucent Diffuser for 41" Deep Umbrellafrom Elinchrom Translucent Diffuser for 41" Deep Umbrellaslips over the open side of the Deep Umbrella with your flash head in the center of it. With the flash aimed at the back of the umbrella, it creates effects like an indirect softbox. The diffuser can be used with all three types of deep umbrellas. Used with the silver-interior Deep Umbrella results in mildly crisp but soft light with a slightly cool color rendition. The umbrella with a white interior yields softer light with a neutral to warm color quality, while use with the translucent umbrella casts light in all directions like a large light dome.

A: It does fit on the B1.

A: The shaft is standard length size that is Universal you must mean the Shaft Diameter which is 7mm for Elinchrom. Most other brands use an 8mm shaft.

[0.51 lb] I mainly use this with a Translucent Diffuser for a super-portable softbox for shooting on location but I also love how if I need the extra power I can just shoot against the silver backing. I used to bring 2 pairs of umbrellas (shoot through + silver bounce) but now I'm much happier to use these instead! 5

[Fabric] Another wonderful Elinchrom modifier. Quality materials, perfectly put together, perfect fit. This softens the strobe to a gentle glow of light. What's not to like? 5

[Fabric] I love the softening to the light that gives. Sometimes the silver umbrella gives a harder light and this diffuser softens it. A bit pricey but it works nice 5

[Fabric] Love these umbrellas, have three and will be buying more. Fiberglass rods are better than steel that normally easily get bent. 5

[Fabric] this really soften up up my light coming from the umbrella. Although the umbrella is heavy and slides down in the angle that I use it in. I have to place a piece of electrical tape to stop it where I want the umbrella to be. It prevents it from sliding all over the place. Its best to leave the bulb exposed as to having the reflector. This really softens the light. Also by leaving it exposed you can create a poor mans Broncolor focus and defocused effect. Play with the options. 5

[Fabric] I've been using these with Elinchrom's Deep Silver 41 umbrellas and love it -- I love how there's more control with a bounce and a diffuser than just with a shoot-through umbrella. 5

[Fabric] I use Elinchrom umbrellas in the field and Elinchrom softboxes in my studio. This deep white umbrella makes the same soft light as my softboxes, and it can be folded down and slipped into a pouch in a flash! Still want more diffusion? Slip the cover over it and boom! Super soft light. The quality of Elinchrom materials and workmanship is second to none. 5-stars! 5
