The Pro-R-T Mic Stand with 1/4-Turn Clutch, Plastic Tripod Basefrom Pro-R-T Mic Stand with 1/4-Turn Clutch, Plastic Tripod Basefeatures a mechanism that allows the tripod legs to fold upward for quick and easy storage and also locks them in place while in use. The tripod base is built with reinforced plastic and can be used for live stage, theater, and other sound applications.

This mic stand provides sturdy support and permits quick setup and breakdown. Ultimate Support's Pro Series R shafts are interchangeable with other Pro Series R bases and offer a modular solution for rehearsals and live shows. Additionally, all Pro Series R stands have been slightly reduced in weight. It adjusts from 37.5 to 65" and has a 5/8" threading design.

[6.35 lb] I have 4 of these, and these days with more Zooming than face-to-face I find it easier to hold (with the correct adapter) an iPad at the proper height and distance than any other method. I also use them for my drone FPV display, my portable audio and video recorders, and even hang a mic on them ! 5

[Tripod] Selected to work with the white Theremini I mounted on it (using a 5/8-27F to 3/8-16M adapter, not included). Comes with a cover for the pole to help maintain it. Base is solid and weighs enough to be stable but can still be tipped easily enough with lever force from the top. For my usage, you don't touch a theremin to play it, so there's no tipping involved. Assembles and disassembles easily, and the height is adjustable with a very good range. 5

[26" / 66 cm] This mic stand from Auray is an instant purchase for travelers. The build quality is better than I expected for the price point. Its lightweight enough to bring along to just about any gig and telescopes down to a really small footprint. Although this isnt the stand that youll use as the primary fixture in your permanent studio (youll probably want something weighted), having this in the toolbox will let you handle overflow and mic additional vocalists on the fly. When it comes to pick-up-and-go, this is absolutely perfect for being nimble. 5

The base provides solid support, without taking too much space, the keeper holds the mic cord in place, and the height is easy to adjust.
