A: You can use Lee or Rosco gels but don't keep the gels too close to the light.

A: These lights can accept bulbs for use in a 220v environment which can be purchased separately. For the 650 Fresnel, you can use the Sylvania/Osram FRL (650W/230V). A: You're missing the point of these lamps. If you want to dim it, the best thing is the scrims. They are very effective. In addition, if you are opposed to using scrims for some reason, you have the option of pulling the bulb back. If you need more focus than when it is flooding, you can use barn doors, which you probably want any way. Finally, you can also use a 300W bulb instead of a 650W.
