The black Countryman B6 Omni Lavalier Mic for Lectrosonics Transmittersfrom Countryman B6 Omni Lavalier Mic for Lectrosonics Transmittersis a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter with changeable protective caps, which provide moisture resistance and color options. The mic can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, churches, and general lavalier applications.

Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in hair or on costumes, or taped to a performer's face. The aramid cable and ultra-thin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's cable terminates to a 2.5mm locking connector for direct connection to a Lectrosonics M170, M175 wireless bodypack transmitter.

Additionally, swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or match other microphones. The B6 microphone is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. These caps can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps, and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Very low, mic near user's mouth.

Q: 1. It's fit My Sony UWP-D11 Transmitter(UTX-B03) ?Thanks,Kelvin

A: Hi Kevin, I work with plus24 who is Sanken's North America Distributor. This part number will fit your Sony UWP-D11 transmitter (UTX-BO3). We do not use a Sony branded connector, but our plug fits and the locking ring fits as well.

Q: 2. Hi, just wondering if someone could tell me if this is compatible with the SONY UTX-B2 wireless transmitter? Thanks, Ross.

A: As long as it is wired for the transmitter's connection, it should work without a problem.

Q: 3. Can this connect directly to a regular recorder like a zoom H1?

A: The COS-11D cannot be connected directly to a recorder. This mic has a 5 pin connection.

Q: 4. Has anyone used it with the new RODE Wireless Go system? I am wondering if it would work and if there would be any loss in the quality of the sound compared with the Sennheiser systems...

A: You can use a COS11-D with the Rode Wireless Go system, but you will need a version of the mic with a standard non-locking 3.5mm TRS connector, as the transmitter for the Wireless Go does not use the same locking connector that Sennheiser and the other Rode wireless systems such as the Filmmaker Kit require. The Wireless Go is designed with standard 3.5mm connectors on the transmitter's mic input and receiver output, and intended to be very easy to use for general consumers.

Q: 5. There are many options of Sanken COS-11D, but I still can't find the right one! Which model can be connected to Rode Wireless Go? Please let me know the product BH#

A: Unfortunately Sanken doesn't make a specific model for the Rode Wireless Go. If you want a better quality mic option for the Rode Wireless Go, I would recommend BH #COMEMWSFF05B.

Q: 6. My beige head worn (ear loop) countryman mic started breaking up - static, etc. The problem was in the connection between the cable and the mic. I rotated the part of the connector at the cable back and forth about a half turn, and it made less noise and cleared up after a few turns. Does this connector release from the mic if it is pulled out, or is it not meant to disconnect? I would like to disconnect it if possible and spray the connections with CAIG D5 to clean the connection.

A: Yes, the Countryman E6 Earset Microphone does have a detachable cable. You can see the mic without the cable in the second photo and the cable is shown by itself in the fourth photo. The cable can be replaced if needed with the Countryman E6 & E6i Snap-on Replacement Microphone Cable (B&H # COE6CT1SR) which has a 3.5mm locking connector that is compatible for use with Sennheiser wireless bodypack transmitters. Countryman also offers replacement cables in different colors and with different connectors.

Q: 7. Can this be used with cellphones? like, can I connect it to the Note 9 for example and use it and microphone for vlogging?

A: No it cannot be connected directly into a cellphone. The voltage requirement is greater than a cellphone can supply: Power Requirements: +3 to +10 V

Q: 8. Hello B&H .. Any of this sanken connector models(white color) work with Lectrosonics SSM?Thanks.

A: This Sanken mic will work with your Lectrosonics SSM transmitter:Sanken COS-11D Omni Lavalier Mic, Normal Sens, Hardwired LEMO 3-Pin Connector for Sennheiser Wireless Transmitters (No Accessories, White) B&H # SAC11ANSEL3W

Q: 9. Have TASCAM DR-10 -- Will this work and what is the name of the locking connector I need?

A: This Sanken COS-11D microphone comes with a 1/8 TRS locking connector (it screws onto the wireless transmitter so it stays secure). It is advertised for the Sennheiser G3 transmitters but looking at the Tascam DR-10 it appears to have the same 1/8 TRS plug, so it should work fine.

Q: 10. Will these work for the Zoom F2?

A: Yes, this Sanken COS-11D with the locking 1/8" (3.5mm) connector for Sennheiser transmitters (B&H # SAC11WNSETRB) will work when connected to the mic input on the Zoom F2.
