By a different brand but make sure they support the latest OS version

[0.285 lb] At first hook ups this cable wouldn't allow installing 2 monitors on my early 2012 MacBook Air 13". B&H spent a great amount of time doing the research and offering another product but could only find a solution for adding one more monitor, not two. Supposedly my laptop wouldn't handle 2 monitors. As I was about to repackage for return I noticed that this requires drivers to work properly. After visiting their website and installing said drivers this works flawlessly with my old Mac (early USB 3.0 and mini display port, mini display port doesn't have to be used here though just USB) and adding two monitors. I'd call back B&H but figured this would have a greater reach! 5

[0.285 lb] After a lot of searching this device does exactly what you need. uses one USB port and gives you two completely independent additional HDMI monitors, plus your built in screen. Dragging form one screen to another is perfect. No extra power supplies, this device is elegant. My displays are web pages and email, not tested with gaming. I have had a single issue where GoTo Meeting screen blanks out. Not necessarily due to this, but that has never occurred before. Highly recommend this product. 5

[0.285 lb] Item came as quickly and did exactly what I hoping it would. The item doesn't clearly say that it can be used for multiple 2 screens, I am using it on my laptop in addition to a built in HDMI port for a total of 4 screens. It does work. 5

[0.285 lb] Had one for a few years, decided to order a second to use with various computers basically to connect external CD/DVD reader burners. This reliably works with an LG self-loading DVD, Apple super disc, Asus DVD devices all work perfectly with these connected. Top transfer speed 5GB/Sec. 5

[0.285 lb] The j5create USB 3.0 DUAL HDMI DISPLAY ADAPTER 4K+1080P adapter/dongle allowed me to set up a quadruple screen workstation with my laptop computer! Since my laptop has one 4K HDMI port - that is 2 screens. The j5create has 1 HDMI port and 1 4K HDMI port giving me screens 3 and 4. You only get to use 1 4K screen with it. The reason may be energy usage - the unit runs warm (a nice hand warmer for winter computing). Beautifully it just worked when I plugged it into my laptop USB 3.0 port. There's a saying, Once you go dual you never go back. Now I can expand my screen work area as needed with most any computer. I am very happy. 5

[0.285 lb] I have two of these. I plugged them into a sabien usb dock that I also purchased from the wonderful folks at B&H. And it allow me to run 4 monitors while only consuming one usb port on my laptop. These make for a simple and clean set-up. 5
